Chapter 27

My eyes opened around 5 am. The seagulls were singing happily when I sat up and looked to the other girls who were snoring. I giggled quietly, seeing Melody move her hand and hit Juliet in her face.

Gently moving the covers off me, I stand up and grab a cape to wrap over me. I grab some paper telling them where I've gone before walking out the door and downstairs where some people were already.

"Good luck for today." They all said, hugging me before letting me walk out. Surprisingly, a lot of people were out. Tables were being set all the way down the street. Rosanna was saying that it's a street party.

Smiling when I see mine and Jake's name sitting next to each other on the table. The colours all looked beautiful together.

The sound of waves hitting made me walk over to the dock and sit down with my feet in the water. Giggling softly when the wind blew my hair in different directions.

The sun was rising. Sunrise has always been my favourite to watch. I used to do this as a child with my father, and I couldn't sleep.

"Good morning." Desmond says, making me jump to look at him. I didn't even hear him come towards me. He laughed and sat down next to me.

"Morning Desmond." I say, smiling before looking at the decorations around Contessa. They were so beautiful. Everyone has done such a good job.

"I'm proud of you both. When I first met Jake, he was lost. But you've helped make him a better man. I can't wait until we defeat the pigs." Desmond says, smiling as out in the sea there's a group of whales.

"I love him so much, Desmond. I'm really looking forward to becoming his wife." I say, smiling widely when I see Connor and Adrian walking along the dock. We are sitting at a distance from the dock so they will see us if they look towards us. They were carrying some more decorations in their hands.

"You both really are amazing together." Desmond replied and smiled, looking onto Contessa. I look over to where he's looking, and I see Jake looking over at us smiling. He raises his hand to wave. I laughed and waved back, but there was a scream behind me.

"You're not supposed to see each other." Rosanna shouts, running over. I look back, seeing Xavier pulling Jake away, too.

"It was my fault, sweetie." Demsond says to his daughter, who calmed down. There were shouts of laughter, which made us look seeing Jake sprinting towards us with Xavier and Joshua behind him.

"Nope." Rosanna says, grabbing my arm roughly and dragging me back to our room. Behind me, I heard Jake shouting as Xavier jumped on him.

When we got back in, the other girls were awake and sorting things out, all talking excitedly about today.

"Your bath is ready." Vanessa says, smiling when I come in. The room smelt heavenly of rose petals.

"Jake nearly got to her." Rosanna says, having some water while the girl gasps. I laugh and take off my clothes and get into the hot bath. The rose petals surrounding me, making my body smell beautiful.

There was commotion outside, which made Melody and Juliet run to the window. They laughed and told us Jake was ordering the others round to help set the tables. I smile thinking of Jake. He wanted it to be perfect.

"SHUT UP." Melody shouted out the balcony door, making us all laugh.

"HOW'S MY BRIDE." Jake shouted up. I blushed red, making Rosanna laugh when she looked at me.

"SHE'S NAKED." Rosanna shouted down to Jake. After she said that, she started to laugh hysterically.

"His face went dark, and he tried to walk through the entrance. Xavier and Joshua held him back." Julia says, laughing and walking back over to me.
