Warning! - Violence, blood, and torture.
___________________________________Immediately, we walked over to the table where everyone was to show them what had just happened. They couldn't believe it.
"Oh my gosh. How did you do that." Rosanna says, looking at the map in disbelief.
"I've never seen that map before. Aldeshi. I've never heard of it either." Xavier says after Rosanna.
Not wanting to say what we were doing. "I don't know. We were just talking, and it glowed. We heard a pop, and the lanterns blew out." Jake responds. Xavier looks up, glaring at him slightly, knowing what 'just talking' means. He didn't say anything, though.
"Well, we've got a map. So what's going to happen now." Julia says, ready for an adventure. The clock strikes midnight. We look up shocked by how quick the time has gone.
"Nothing now. We all need sleep. Tomorrow you are going to grandmother's grave Aurora so you need a good night's sleep. Jake isn't going to come with you, though. He's helping me with something." Xavier says, looking Jake dead in the eye.
"I'll come with you." Rosanna and the girls say. Looks like it's a girls' trip and some guards.
Xavier has to let Rosanna out the secret passage, so she said goodnight to us all, hitting Jake on the shoulder before kissing Xavier goodbye. Once Xavier closed the passage, he walked over to us, giving us the piece of paper, telling us to keep it safe before he went to bed.
As it's too late for the girls to go home, I decided to let them sleep in my chambers as Jake has to sleep in his room tonight because we don't want people suspecting anything.
We kiss each other goodnight, and he gives me the map tucked away in the silver ball again, telling me to hide it until tomorrow night. Me and the girls walk back without having to stop, which was nice and getting settled for bed.
Quietly talking amongst ourselves, I said to them we should all just sleep on the bed. It's big enough for us all. That's what we did, and for the first night in a little bit, I slept alone, which I didn't like.
Surprisingly, I woke up before the girls did. Getting out of bed was easy as I slept on the edge, I grabbed a cloak, knowing it was cold outside, and went to sit out on my balcony.
The sunrise just started to come up, and it was beautiful. Thinking to myself, "Happy anniversary, grandma." I stayed out until the sun was up, and the pinks and oranges disappeared into blue skies.
"Good morning, miss." Juliet says behind me. Turning around, I move my hand, making her come closer, and together, we look out, admiring the views.
"I see why you couldn't wait to leave. The gardens didn't do justice." She says. We talked some more before deciding to get ready. The other two are starting to wake up now.
"Good morning, sleeping beauties." I say jumping on them, which causes them to groan in pain, laughing. I go and get ready. Grandmother didn't want to be buried in the castle like other royals, she wanted to be different so she built a hut and her body is placed underground there, only royal blood can open the door into it.
Deciding to just wear pants and a purple chest plate, I also decided to bring my sword with me in case anything was to happen. I place my hair in a braid so it's out of my face. The girls finish preparing for our journey as I go and have breakfast with my family. No one really spoke during breakfast. It was only me, Xavier and our parents. It was a hard day for Mother, and the days leading up, she was always hidden away. Breakfast finished, and Xavier pulled me to the side when our parents walked away.
