My eyes opened again. Not long after, we fell asleep. We were still in the same position, and Jake was snoring loudly in my ear. It doesn't bother me, so I don't know why I can't sleep. Maybe it's because of what's happened. My brain is on overdrive.

Laying in bed for another hour, sleep still doesn't come, so I decided to get out of bed and take a walk on the ship. Reluctantly, I got out of Jake's warm embrace. That was a struggle because he had a tight grip on me.

When I got out, I looked at the clock, seeing it was 1am. We went to bed around 8pm. Eveyone was so tired from the events, so I don't blame anybody who went to bed early.

Grabbing a cloak, I wrap it around my shoulders, hoping it gives me warmtg before opening the door. My eyes widen from the noise it makes. Looking to the right, I hear no movement, so that's good, I didn't wake Jake up.

The crisp air hits me, making me shiver when I step out, closing the door behind me as quietly as I can before walking towards the edge. There weren't many crew members on deck now. Most were here to keep watch.

"What you doing awake, miss?" The boy from earlier who fell asks as I look over the edge, listening to the water and looking up to the moon.

"I couldn't sleep." I replied back, turning round to face him.

"I understand. It's hard to on your first night. You'll get used to it. The girl from earlier, what's her name." I laugh quietly at his second question.

"Her name is Juliet." I replied, smiling with a knowing look. He smiles to the ground, whispering her name.

"Thanks, miss. If you ever need anything, my name is Connor." He replied before walking away, holding some rope around his shoulders. I knew his name now, so at least I can tell Juliet if she asks. I turn around, looking at the night sky. The stars were shining brightly as we sailed south.

I let the cold breeze move my hair freely. It was windy tonight, but I didn't mind it, I felt free. My head moved when I heard our cabin door opening, and Jake walked out alert, trying to find me. Watching as his eyes went everywhere apart from where I'm standing.

"Jake." I whispered. His head turned to the sound of my voice. He walked over to me and stood behind me, wrapping his arms around me, letting me lean against him. My hands rest against his forearms.

"What you doing out here." He whispers, leaving a kiss to my temple. I smile and lean my head back to rest under his chin.

"I couldn't sleep. I didn't want to wake you up, so I came out here. It's peaceful." I whispered back, closing my eyes, letting out a sigh of comfort as his grip tightened around.

"You know I don't mind you waking me up. Especially when you can't sleep. This is your first night sleeping on a ship. I know what it's it like as I was the same." Jake says, turning my body round so we're chest to chest. My arms wrap around his neck, and his around my waist.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, resting my head against his heart. Looking towards the steps on the other side of Contessa. I feel Jake chuckle before his right arm moves from my waist, and his finger goes under my chin, moving my head to look up at his.

"You don't need to be sorry. It's normal. Besides. I've got a way to help make you tired." Jake growls the last part in my ear, making my eyes widen.

"Jake." I whispered, feeling him leave gentle kisses down my neck, I look up towards the sky, giving him more access. My hands move to rest against his chest, pulling at his shirt that he's thrown on. He sucks hard, making me whimper, and I push my body against his.

"We've got to christen the ship." Jake growls before moving away from me, I whimpered from the loss of warmth looking at him. His eyes were dark and lustful. I wanted him.
