I woke up this morning hearing the sound of a rooster. I've always wanted to wake up to that sound. Jake was still asleep, snoring lightly. As much as I didn't want to wake him, I knew I had to. Otherwise, we'll both be in trouble.

"Jake." I whispered, touching his cheek gently. His left hand reaches up to grab mine before his pearly blue eyes open, looking into mine. He smiles, feeling content with me in his arms.

"Good morning, beautiful." He whispered back before kissing my hand. I smiled before leaning forward and catching his lips with a kiss. We heard the rooster again and pulled away, laughing at the sound.

"You really are the best morning call I'll ever have, and I've got you for the rest of our lives." Jake said, smiling, looking up at this ceiling.

"We've got to get up. You've got to be downstairs when Violet goes down." I told him.

"I know. But you're comfy." He whispered. I am comfy, but I'm more worried about being told off. Jake let out a groan as I stood up from the small bed and sorted myself out before looking back at him.

Laughing at him. "Come on, don't be a baby, baby." I teased him, causing him to glare.

"I can give you a baby." Jake proudly responded back, knowing it'll leave me breathless, which it did. I looked at him in shock from his words.

"Speechless." Jake said, standing up and pulling his cream trousers on.

"Why would you say that." I said. He walked up and stood in front of me, my arms going around his neck, looking at him.

"Because I'm going to make it happen." Was all Jake said before leaning down and our lips met in a deep kiss, I tightened my grip on his neck and leaned forward, pushing our bodies together, he groans in lustful annoyance when I pull away letting him finish getting ready.

"I'll meet you downstairs." I said. As Jake opens the window and climbs out, I walk over and lean against the window seal, watching him climb down effortlessly.

"You certainly will love. I'll be collecting the eggs." Jake said once he was fully down on the ground safe and looked up.

"Try not to get a lot of feathers on you." I joked. His eyes widened, and he knew immediately who told me that. His mother.

"Not a word." Jake demanded as I laughed before he turned and walked towards the barn.

I put a green cloak over my shirt. It was a little chilly this morning, so I just wanted to use it for some comfort.

Movement was starting to be heard downstairs, so I decided now was the time to go down, I opened Jakes bedroom door and started to walk down the stairs. Wilfred and Adrian were morning people, so it didn't surprise me to see them awake already and sitting at the table, drink some warm milk.

"Good morning." I whispered, walking in.

"Good morning, Aurora." They both said. Adrian stood up to get me a glass of milk. I took it and sat down. The chill I had upstairs was gone immediately after having this.

We spoke between ourselves for fifteen minutes before we heard small feet coming down the stairs, Matilda came down rubbing her eyes, still half asleep. The time was 5:15 am. It was still a bit early for her.

"Good morning lovely, why are you awake." I said softly to her sleepy form as she walked over to me.

"Good morning, Aura." She said, looking up at me. She told us she couldn't wait to wear her dress.

"Would you like me to help you." I ask sweetly. She nodded her head, so I stood up and carried her back upstairs, where I see Jackson already awake, but reading through my prank book that I gifted them yesterday.
