On the vast waters, boats carrying the survivors back and forth to Oceanside. Tara had talked to the group the day before of a community she ran into across the waters. An island full of people, guns, an opportunity for more allies if they accept to fight with them. They needed as much people as they could to gain their freedom back.

Daryl left the Kingdom and joined Hilltop's forces. He'd rather fight along his people instead of camping out in a safe haven no matter the risks. Protecting his people was his first priority while hiding from Negan was a second. Hiding would soon become something he wouldn't have to endure again the further they win this war. With a few people from Hilltop, Daryl and Enid returned to Alexandria. Delilah was glad to have her brother back but her worry lingered for him. Being a prisoner for Negan changed him in a way she couldn't put her finger on. He helped Maggie in Hilltop get their forces ready for war.

Delilah stepped off the boat, Shane lending her his hand to help her steady herself. The shore was empty, just a few walkers lingering by the water, their flesh swollen with water. Delilah had a rifle strapped across her body, her tomahawk across her back. Everyone was equipped with guns and gear. The sand sank beneath their shoes, the sound of water crashing to shore was the only sound.

Daryl and Jesus set up explosives outside their town before the rest of the group arrived. Rick hoisted yup Michonne into a tree and her signal was the explosives. As they creeped around in the trees, getting closer to their town, Tara went off and snuck into one of the houses. The rest of the group stayed behind the trees, guns in tow. Tara gave these people a promise to never tell a soul about them and she broke it. She'd try to negotiate with them to join them or give them their guns.

Delilah kept checking her watch, her brother doing the same next to her. She peeked out from behind her post, eyeing around her waiting for the explosion. The explosion erupted, the sound of screaming rang throughout the island. One after another, the sounds making Delilah's ears ring. Delilah ran out of her post shortly after her brother pointing their weapons at people. Michonne started shooting at their feet, making them halt.

"Those hands—Put them on your head." Daryl ordered, his gun pointed at both of the girls in front of them. The two girls looked at each other for a moment. Jesus's voice was soft. "Please."

The girls obeyed and got on their knees. Delilah helped tie their writs together so they didn't fell threatened by the men. She hoisted one up while Jesus got the other. They led the girls to the rest of the group, a crowd of people with their hands up in fear crowded in front of them. Shane was pointing his gun towards their feet, threatening but peaceful, Carl doing the same next to him.

"We don't want to hurt anyone. That's not what we're here for." Gabriel told the big group of people, trying to get them to calm down. Delilah and Jesus sat down the other girls in front of the group.
