The strange group of people threatened them before leading them to their camp. Delilah walked closely within their little group surrounded by the quiet people. Shane kept an eye on Delilah the whole way. While the rest of the group accessed the people around them. There was a lot of them, at least a couple hundred. They had numbers and they all look equipped with a weapon.
The group led them through a shipping container and as the door creaked open on the other side was a junk yard. A giant cleared space surrounded by junk. Metal structures garnished the place like art. They watched as everyone walked up and down around them almost like they didn't see them. They formed two circles around them.
"Are you a collective, or does one lead?" A woman in a black cloak and a two toned bob stepped out of the crowd. One of her people nudged Rick making him stumble. He introduced himself "Hi. I'm Rick"
"We own your lives. You want to buy them back? Have anything?"
"Well, you have one of my people. Gabriel. I want to see him first. Then we can talk."
The woman looked behind Rick to another one of her people and gave her a silent command. The silence was loud as they brought Gabriel out. He was stumbling in fear as he looked back at the group that saved him and he stole from. "The boat things you took got taken. Saw them, so we took the rest. And we took him." She raised her brows in conversation, her head slightly tilted to the side.
"Well, then you know we have nothing to buy back our lives with. That's what you'll have soon—nothing. Because me and my people already belong to that group who took those supplies from that boat. They're called the Saviors. They own our lives. And if you kill us you'll be taking something away from them. And they will come looking." Rick told her with determination, "You only have two options when it comes to the Saviors—either they kill you or they own you. But there is a way out. Join us. Join us in fighting them."
Jadis looked at him with a slight open smile at his offer and command. She looked him up and down almost admiring him in a sickly way. "No." She circled her finger around in a silent command. The two holding Gabriel took him back and led him away. Rick started to turn around looking at all her people, trying to tell what's next.
Someone came up behind Delilah and grabbed her. Shane took the guy's shirt collar and made him take his grasp off her, punching him in the face. Delilah started to elbow and kick people away from her, her husband doing the same. Rosita fought back kneeing a guy in the stomach and punching him. "Guy's don't." Aaron reached out for them but got knocked down from another guy. Tara started to fight back by tripping the woman laying her hands on her. Rick kept pushing people off of him, "Everybody, stop! Wait!" He pleaded in a yell, putting his hands out.
