"This was it, Mom," Chinni sobbed, her voice trembling with raw emotion as tears streamed down her cheeks, painting a stark contrast to the turmoil that swirled around us.

"Oh my god! This all happened in our house, at our party with that innocent soul," Chachi murmured, her face pale as worry etched deep lines on her forehead.

The atmosphere was thick with tension, a palpable reminder of the secrets that had unraveled that evening.

Suddenly, a commanding voice sliced through the confusion. "One second, everyone, I want to talk to Abhi alone." Dadu's words held a weight that made everyone fall silent. I nodded, my heart racing, and followed him to his study, needing clarity amidst the chaos.

The study was a sanctuary of sorts, dimly lit, with shelves of books lining the walls, their spines whispering stories of wisdom and authority. Dadu sat down behind his grand mahogany desk, gesturing for me to take a seat across from him. The heavy silence enveloped us, and I could sense the urgency in his gaze.

"Yes, Dadu, what did you want to talk about privately?" I asked, my mind still racing with the events of the evening—Chinni's revelation, the haunting implications, and the urgency to protect Ruhanika.

"Abhi," Dadu began, his voice steady but filled with concern, "I know about your past and why you have denied getting married whenever we tried to bring up the topic. I listened to every word you said a few minutes ago. I can see how deeply you care for that girl. I'm very happy about your decision to save her, but are you sure about your decision? I am not trying to dissuade you, but I am worried for both her and you. So, I ask you directly: what do you plan to do about this situation? I know, as my grandson, you must already have a plan in mind, right? What is it?" Dadu's eyes bore into mine, demanding honesty.

I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his scrutiny. "I will let you know, Dadu," I replied, trying to convey my resolve.

"No, Abhi. I want to know right now. This is a very important decision involving two lives. I want to know everything," he insisted, the sternness in his voice a reflection of his concern.
