Marriage is often described as a beautiful and cherished moment in a girl's life. I've heard countless stories from friends and family about the joy and excitement that comes with it. However, for me, this moment is nothing short of a punishment. Instead of feeling joy, I am consumed by dread and uncertainty.

I know that I am not marrying Siddharth Thakur, the person I had always imagined sharing my life with. The bitter truth is, I don't even know the name of my so-called groom this time. The thought of entering a lifelong commitment with a stranger terrifies me.

This harsh reality struck me when I overheard my father and Amit talking a few hours ago. They were discussing the details of the wedding, oblivious to my presence. Their conversation confirmed my worst fears and left me feeling utterly helpless and betrayed. The uncertainty of my future looms over me like a dark cloud, and the weight of this unwanted union feels unbearable.

After a heated argument between Ruhanika and Sushila at Mittal House, the scene shifts to Ruhanika's room a few hours earlier.

"Wasoolie, why aren't you sleeping?" I asked, feeling his tight hug and refusal to let me go.

In response, he just barked, "Bhow! Bhow!"

"What's wrong, baby? Why won't you let me go? Can't you see that I need some rest too?"

Suddenly, Kavita bhabhi's voice interrupted my conversation with Wasoolie. "I don't understand why you agreed, Maa. Why did you sign that contract with him?" Why was she yelling at our mother at this hour?

"Wasoolie, be a good boy and don't try to come out of the room, understood?" I said to him. He nodded, indicating that he understood every word I spoke.
