As Bhaiya's whispered words, "Welcome home, Princess," reached my ears, I felt the world around me slow down, as if time itself had paused to mark this moment. My heart pounded in my chest, and my breath caught in my throat. This was the moment I had dreamed of, longed for, and yet, standing on the precipice of it, I felt frozen, overwhelmed by the magnitude of what was about to happen.

I tried to swallow the lump forming in my throat, but my thoughts were scattered, my emotions tangled. How should I react? What should I feel? This wasn't just a reunion—it was the beginning of a new life, a return to a place that had been lost to me for so long. The thought of meeting my real parents—the ones who had brought me into this world—was both exhilarating and terrifying. When I met Bhaiya, it had been so easy, so natural, as if we had always been together. But this...this was different. I was about to face the people who had grieved for me, who had searched for me, who had missed out on so much of my life. How could I ever live up to what they might expect of me?

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't even notice when Bhaiya gently set me down on the ground. My feet sank into the soft carpet of rose petals that had been scattered along the path leading to the grand entrance of the palace. The fragrance of the flowers wafted up, mingling with the cool evening breeze, and I looked up to see people on either side of the path, smiling and throwing more petals, as if welcoming a long-lost princess home. Tears welled up in my eyes as the reality of it all hit me—this was home. My home. The place where I had taken my first steps, spoken my first words, lived the first five years of my life. The place where my true family had waited for me all these years.
