Rajvanti Singh Rajput, the matriarch of the Rajput family, paced back and forth, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Is everything ready, Abhishek?" she asked, her voice carrying the authority of decades of wisdom and love.

"Yes, Dadi, everything is set," Abhishek replied, checking his list for the umpteenth time.

"Flowers?" Rajvanti Dadi inquired, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Done," Abhishek confirmed, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Rakhi?" she pressed.

"Done," Abhishek repeated, his patience unwavering.

"And sweets?" Rajvanti Dadi's voice softened, knowing the importance of this tradition.

"Delivered," Abhishek assured her.

"And the Pandit Ji?" Rajvanti Dadi continued, her hands clasped in front of her.

"Invited," Abhishek responded, his tone steady.

"What about the Kundali?" Rajvanti Dadi asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Ready for the action," Abhishek grinned, feeling the excitement bubbling inside him.

"And the rings?" Manyata, Ruhanika's Badi Maa, chimed in, her voice full of affection.

Abhishek nodded, lifting his thumb in a gesture of assurance. "Done."

They were all busy with the final preparations when suddenly, Avantika, Ruhanika's mother, broke into tears, sitting on the couch. The room fell silent.

"Mumma! Why are you crying?" Abhinandan, Ruhanika's younger brother, who had been standing nearby, rushed over, his face filled with concern. He wrapped his arms around his mother, holding her close.
