"Dadi, tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan, and I want my family to meet Ruhi before the festival begins. I also don't believe in this marriage," Abhishek said with a resolute expression, his voice tinged with determination. "I'm taking Ruhi with me to Jodhpur on my private jet in a few hours."

His words hit me like a thunderclap. Just moments ago, when he and Rooh returned from their discussion, they had been smiling. I had hoped that Rooh had managed to convince him about the legitimacy of our relationship. But now, Abhishek's statement was leading us down a path I hadn't anticipated. How could I possibly cope with the thought of my wife being taken away from me again?

"Okay, beta, but we've planned to perform the post-wedding rituals as well. If you could just wait a little..." Dadi began, trying to reason with Abhishek. However, he cut her off abruptly, his tone brooking no disagreement.

"No, Dadi," he interjected firmly. "I don't believe in this marriage. Do you really think Baba Sa or Dada Sa will accept it under these circumstances? I doubt it. Abhinav is my best friend, but that doesn't give him the right to marry my sister in such a way. I understand that time was pressing, but he could have called me as soon as he knew about her. He should have reached out to Baba Sa. I'm confident that Baba Sa would have handled the situation with his usual expertise, considering he knows Mahesh Mittal better than any of us."

"You can't take her. Abhishek, whether you believe it or not, Ruhi is my wife, and I won't allow you to take her away from me. We will go to Jodhpur together," I declared with a fierce conviction in my voice.

"We will make your family understand that..." Before I could finish, Ruhanika interjected.

"But why should I be the one to make them understand? You caused this mess, so you deal with it," she said dismissively.
