"I think this will look good on you, Bhabhi. Try it, please," Shristi said, holding up a light blue dress adorned with a sequined star design along the edge.

"Wow, it looks so beautiful, Ruhi. You should try this one," Maa said. I've started calling my mother-in-law "Maa."

"Yeah, it does look beautiful," I said, smiling.

It's wonderful to have my whole family with me, searching for the perfect outfits for our engagement. Everyone is invested in making this moment special for me and Abhinav. The boutique, Sparkles Fashions, is alive with activity. On one side, the females in my family are helping me select the perfect dress. It's a whirlwind of colors, fabrics, and styles as I try on different outfits, seeking their opinions. It's heartwarming to have so many supportive women around me, making sure I look and feel my best on my big day.

On the other side, the males of my family are assisting Abhinav in finding his outfit. They're having a lively time, trying on various styles and offering feedback. Meanwhile, both sets of grandparents and Vinay bhai are enjoying each other's company, adding to the joyful atmosphere.

Overall, it's a wonderful and memorable moment for our family. The support and love we share are evident in everyone's involvement in preparing for the engagement. It's bound to be a special day we'll remember for years to come.

As I walked toward the trial room, I felt overwhelmed by the attention and pampering from my family. Although I was being treated like a princess, I couldn't shake the feeling of being unaccustomed to this level of care. Growing up, the Mittal family wasn't very supportive and rarely gave me money for personal purchases. Despite this, the truth of my existence as a princess brings with it a sense of royalty. As I entered the trial room with six beautiful dresses in hand, my eyes fell on a stunning traditional outfit—a perfect white dress with sparkling embellishments and a matching short kurta for the groom. I knew this was the perfect outfit for our engagement, and I couldn't help but fall in love with it.
