I cleared my throat, the sound cutting through the murmurs of the room. All eyes turned toward us, a mixture of curiosity and concern written on their faces.

As they noticed our intertwined hands, a collective sigh of relief seemed to pass through the room, accompanied by warm, reassuring smiles. Rooh and I settled onto one of the plush loveseats, and I gently placed her hand on my lap, gripping it firmly. I could sense her restlessness, her anger bubbling just beneath the surface, and her urgent need for justice for Sanyu. We both silently hoped that Sanyu would wake up soon.

Rooh, her eyes fierce with determination, spoke up, her voice steady despite the tumultuous emotions churning within her. "I know what you're all thinking," she began, her gaze sweeping across the room. "You're wondering why I refused the marriage ceremony. But trust me, it's not for the reasons you might assume." She paused, the tension in the room palpable. "I need to wait until Di wakes up. I've seen the improvements in her medical reports. I have faith that she will regain consciousness. And before we celebrate anything, I want to see those responsible for her suffering face justice."

The room fell silent as her words sank in. Rooh's transformation from the shy, reserved girl we once knew to this fierce, determined woman was striking. Her face, usually so soft and gentle, now held an edge of steely resolve. Her smirk was a clear indication of the strength she now possessed—enough to intimidate anyone who had wronged her family. Seeing her like this was both awe-inspiring and reassuring. I knew without a doubt that I would support her in whatever path she chose to seek justice, no matter the cost.

I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, my gaze meeting hers with unwavering support. "Whatever you need, I'm here for you," I said softly. Rooh nodded, her eyes reflecting gratitude and determination. She continued, her voice resolute. "I need your permission to take action. Di  has made a start, but I want to see this through to the end. I want to ensure that those who have wronged us are held accountable."
