The atmosphere shifted in an instant. The vibrant echoes of celebration that once danced through the palace halls had evaporated, leaving behind a heavy, oppressive silence. Faces that had once been lit with joy now stood frozen in shock, their expressions trapped in disbelief. The beloved princess of the family, Ruhanika, had just denied her marriage—an unthinkable act. It felt as if the very ground beneath their feet had crumbled away, casting everyone into a state of confusion.

But no one felt the weight of her words more than Abhinav. His world, built around dreams of a life with his Rooh, shattered in a blink. Without explanation, the woman he had vowed to spend his life with had refused him, leaving his heart exposed and broken. He stood still, his breath catching in his throat, unable to process the pain that gripped his chest.

The family, frozen in stunned silence, struggled to find their voices. Questions spun in their minds, but only one person had an inkling of the truth behind Ruhanika's sudden denial—her brother, Abhishek. He had seen the fire in her eyes the previous night. He had witnessed her quiet rage, the burning desire for revenge against the Mittals, and he knew that his sister's heart was weighed down by something far more complex than anyone could understand.

Flashback to the night before:

In the dimly lit room where their comatose sister, Sanyukta, lay, Abhishek had witnessed Ruhanika unravel. Her usual calm demeanor was gone, replaced by quiet fury. "They took everything from us, bhaiya," she had whispered through gritted teeth, her eyes locked on Sanyukta's lifeless form. "I can't just move on as if none of this happened. Not when they're still out there, unpunished."

Back in the present,

As Abhinav stormed out of the hall, his pain too deep to contain, Abhishek didn't hesitate. He marched over to Ruhanika, his jaw clenched, and without warning, grabbed her arm and pulled her aside. His eyes, usually warm, were now aflame with anger.
