Heartslabyul Dorm - Rose GardenEveryone watched in horror as spears shaped like card motifs—twisted and dripping with blot—hovered menacingly above the group. With a flick of her hand, Yurei launched them straight at the boys.
"Just focus on the monster behind him!" Isfrid barked, voice laced with protective fury as his sharp eyes locked on Yurei's corrupted form.
"Easier said than done when you've got inky death raining from the sky!" Vanitas growled, teeth bared, as he shielded his chest with his coat.
"Alright. Bring it on!" Ace grinned with reckless confidence. He swung his magical pen through the air. "Jumbo Gust!!" he shouts. The wind blades shot out like razors, slicing the oncoming spears in half. "They mended themselves?!" he panicked as the regenerated spears launched at him again. "Tch!"
Multiple spears pasted his body. One even managed to touch Ace's clothes. He paled at the sight of the ink oozing as the ones that pierced the floor behind to eat away at the ground. "The blot's...eating away at the ground?!" everyone gasped.
"Mon Dieu! What the devilry is this?!" Vanitas hissed, his voice on edge as he shielded himself.
Isfrid wasn't surprised, for he knew this would happen. "Ah ha ha ha ha ha!" Riddle laughed wickedly. "You'll rue the day you ever dared to defy me! All for my Rose!" he smirked.
More inky spears launched from the air. Isfrid countered with sweeping arcs of his icy sword, freezing and smashing dozens of them with calculated precision. Deuce and Grim did their best to dodge and shield others.
"Gyah!" Suddenly, Grim had gotten pinned down by the spears, one piercing his bow. "I'm stuck!!"
"Grim!" Isfrid called out in worry before slashing them but they get mended themselves. "Tch. No good. Just like the last two times, weapons made from blot will just reform!" he cursed out.
"Eek!" Grim shrieked as he noticed the ink oozing through his bow.
"I got you! Doodle Suit!" Trey shouted, his Signature Spell turning the ink arrows into crystals that shattered once Isfrid sliced through them.
"Eeek...!" Grim whimpered as he fell back, glad that he wasn't a goner.
"!!" Riddle widen his eyes in surprise. "Confound it all! Still you oppose me, Trey?!"
"We owe you one, Trey," Isfrid grinned.
"Ughh. My ribbon..." Grim whined.
"Whine later!" Vanitas snapped, glaring down at the feline. "You're taking attention away from her. Again." His gaze flicked toward Y/n's bound form, his fists clenching. "She should never have to witness this filth..."
"Be one the look-out for whatever's next!" Trey sternly instructed.
"None should DARE stand in my way!" Riddle roared with anger.
Yurei slammed the rose-entwined tree down. The impact cracked the ground, fissures ripping through the stone.
As the boys dodged the magical attacks, fissures appeared on the ground from the force. But as Deuce trying to dodge another attack, he accidently tripped and fell on his butt, causing him to lose grip on his magical pen. "Shit!" Deuce panicked, immediately reaching out to grab his pen.
