Time Again

On the first day back, Giovanni and Jeveskia confronted us about what had happened with Janet (Brandon having already heard from Fiona) and we told them. We had to explain it to Giovanni twice, the second time breaking it down to every little detail and text so he could understand, but at the end both he and Jeveskia agreed Janet was just being stupid.

Brandon said we had to confront her, and when Fiona started protesting, he said it was six on three and they couldn't have the table all to themselves. So we did.

"Get up," Brandon stated the instant we'd reached our table.

"Excuse me?" Janet said.

"This is our table, and since we aren't friends anymore, you can't sit here," Brandon replied.

"What do you mean-" Antonio began.

"If I recall correctly," Fiona cut in, "Y/N and I sat here first on the first day back. And we aren't friends anymore, so you can't sit here anymore. Please leave."

"Since when were we not friends?" Antonio asked, looking directly at Brandon, Giovanni, and Jeveskia.

"Since just now, since you guys are being idiotic," Jeveskia said.

"When did-" Janet started.

"Look, guys, I don't want to make an issue, but I think they're right," Xavier said.

"Thank you, Xavier!" I said, folding my arms.

"You're the one who started this, Y/N!" Janet said to me.

"If I remember correctly, you started it by asking me to basically unfriend someone for you, and I have the texts to prove it," I replied.

Janet seemed speechless. She glared at us, then at Xavier.

"Fine! You can stay with them. Good riddance," Janet said, picking up her stuff. She huffed and left the table, Antonio at her heels.

"I've always thought she was a little dramatic," Xavier said.

"A little?" Giovanni said.

Xavier laughed and motioned for us to sit down.

Time passed quickly yet again, and before I knew it it was March. By then, something was happening. An inkling of a friendship was beginning to form between me and the least likely person possible, and in the least likely way possible.

I had so much tea to spill to Eloise when it happened.
