Pov: Hardin

" why did you leave me" I hear Tess cry it breaks me it really does and honestly I don't know why I did it. " I don't know Tess" I look down because I just don't know why I'm being a asshole. " you don't know" I hear her say mad I look up and look in her eyes. " I don't know what to say" I'm being honest because what can I say to make everything okay " why are you here" I look at her but she has no emotion " I was worried" I  look at her. " I tried to text you and you didn't respond so I came her" I take her hands. " you've read it don't you" I see Tessa looking at my hands who are still holding her hands.

" yeah I did I didn't know about this all" and it's the truth I didn't know she was this hurt . " of course you did hardin you bullied me so don't tell me you didn't know" she say angry. " I understand that's you mad" . " I know how you feel" i do know. " you don't know shit Hardin" I feel her pulling her hands back. " you know everything about me my dad my mom" I say trying to explain. " yeah I do and did I ever tell anyone about it no" I see her holding her tears. " I have always kept your secret and what did you do Hardin" she cries again. " you told everyone my secret and I mean everyone and for what to hurt me" she mad and I understand. " I never meant to hurt you Tessa really "  I meant it. " that's bullshit Hardin if you never meant  to hurt then why did you do it in the first place, because of you they are bullying me I never EVER did anything to them " I handed her envelope. " did you read it" she say hurt. I nod " yeah I did " She didn't say anything just looked at me hurt.

" Tessa please" I try to take her hands in mine. Like they were meant for each other. " please don't touch me" I see her looking at me with hurt.  " look at me" I lift her chin so she can look at me. I lean forward and I feel her lips on mine. They where so soft I couldn't get enough of it. " I'm sorry" I  pull back. " I have to go" I stand up and walk downstairs and leaves her in shock.

" hey Hardin" I hear Tessa's mom say in the kitchen. " he mrs young I really have to go" I open the front door. " that alright your always welcome" she  laughs at me.  I smile back at her " thanks mrs young " and closing the door behind me. I just kissed her I facepalm myself.

I get on my motor and drive towards my house. When I arrived I remember that I came out of the window. I look up and think what the hell was I thinking. I shake my head and climb up and get inside my room. " where were you mister" I hear my dad say sitting in the corner with his arms crossed. I look at my dad with a shocked face. " I was just outside ordering my thoughts" I'm not trying to be nervous he knows when I'm lying . " don't lie to me boy I'm gonna ask you for the last time where were you " my father is angry and standing up. I see him holding is belt. " I uhm" I see him coming closer " did you lose your tongue " he say again but angrier.

" you know I have to punish you right" I nod lightly and wait for the pain. I feel the belt hit my back and sink to my knees and fall to the ground. I feel a couple times that my dad is hitting me. " because of you your mom died Hardin you where a disappointment that's why she stopped fighting" I feel my dad keep hitting me. I waited for a couple minutes but nothing happened anymore. I look and see my dad closing the door. I stand up and lock my door. I walk to the mirror and look at myself. I pull up my shirt and see some new bruises. I put my shirt down and climb in bed trying to sleep. I took really long and started to think about Tessa. And with her face I feel asleep.

Next morning

I open my eyes and see it's 7:00 am. I stand up and put on my clothes and take my cigarettes. I open my door and walk downstairs and see my dad is not there anymore. I walk to the kitchen and open the refrigerator. Nothing. I shake my head and take a bottle of water and drive towards jace's house. I get of my motor and walk to the front door and open it. " Jace" I yell. " backyard" I hear him screaming back. I walk towards and sit beside him and take a cigarette and put it to my mouth. " you want one" I see him nod and gave him a cigarette. " your early" I shake my head and laugh a bit . " yeah couldn't sleep anymore so I came her" I say and light my cigaret.

" and how is it going so far" Jace putting the cigaret to his mouth. I know exactly where he is talking about. " time Jace she can't trust me when I'm going fast". " how do you know that" Jace looks at me confused. Shit what should I say. " not all girls are like that" I smile at him. " the girls you had where" i see Jace smirking at me . " I know " I laugh. " almost school" Jace stands up. " since when do you want to be on time" I laugh hard. " if I don't come on time I will not graduate and I really wanna go away from that shit hole" I hear Jace laugh. " right" I laugh harder. " let's go Hardin" I stand up and walk towards our motors and drive towards school.

When we arrived and lock my motor and walk inside with Jace. I walk towards my locker and see someone pushing Tessa into her locker. " hey fatty" . " you deaf Theresa Molly is talking to you." I see zero holding her too. I see Tessa looking at me with fear in her eyes. I can't look at it. I look to the other side and walk away......
