I take Tessa hand and pull her towards the dance floor. " I can't really dance " she tries to keep up with me. " just be yourself tess" I take her hand again. I see tessa getting more comfortable. " I will get some drinks I will be right back" I walk away from her towards the bar. " can I have 2 cocktails please" " here you go" the bartender say handing me 2 cocktails. " thanks" I want to hand him the money. " it's already paid " he points at a handsome men not that I'm gay but he looks amazing. I see him walking towards me and say" thank you for the drink uhm" I want to know his name. " please call me Robert " I shake his hand and introduce myself.
" who is that beautiful girl" Robert asked me looking at Tessa. " that is my best friend Tessa" I look at her with a smile. She look so happy right now. " you two wanna hangout at my place I will drive I don't drink" he asked me. " I will get Tessa" I smile at him and walk towards Tessa " that cute guy over there asked us if we want to hang at his place" I point towards robert and see Tessa looking at the guy who I'm pointing at " he is definitely cute but we can't drive we had so much cocktails ". " let's go" he walks towards the door. Towards his car. " is this your car" I look at it with open mouth. " yeah it is " I see Robert opening the door for me and Tessa. He walk towards the driving seat and sit down and start the car. After 10 min we arrived at a big mansion. " you house is amazing" Tessa smiles at him. I know it not that long she dumped Hardin but he's cute for her. I open the door and get out of the car.
" come in" Robert opens the door and get inside. I look around with open mouth. My house is big but this one is so much bigger. " I can show you around if you want" I see Robert putting his keys on the counter. " I would love to" I walk with Tessa behind Robert. When he showed us around he walked towards the kitchen and take out a bottle of whine. " here you go Tessa" Robert hands her a glass of whine. " do you want something " I see Robert looking at me. " no thank you haha " I smile at him
" come then we can talk outside at the pool" I see Robert walking outside and sit down on the lounge chair. I sit beside Tessa and look around. " where are you guys from" Looking at me and Tessa. " well before I moved here I lived in Washington were Tessa lives" I smile at Tessa " but we had to move because my dad found a really good job here" . " and you Tessa " Robert looks at her. " well I'm Tessa young I'm 19 years old and I live in Washington, I study journalism" I see Tessa smiles at him. " that's cool but can I ask you why your so far from home".
I look at Tessa and see her get a little bit uncomfortable about the questions. " she had some problems that's why she's here for a little bit" I nod at her and smile " okay I hope nothing bad" I see Robert still looking at Tessa. " what for work do you do" I ask Robert trying to change the topic. " I work as a waiter in a beautiful restaurant " he smiles at me. " that's sound cool" I smile back.
" let's take a selfie" I hear tessa say out of the blue. " yeah sure " Robert sits next to her. " Landon can you take the picture please " she hands me her phone. I know she want to make Hardin jealous but I don't think it's a great plan I shake my head and take a couple pictures. " here you go " I hand her phone back. I sit back in the chair. " you really don't want anything " Robert looks at me. I feel my phone buzzing and see that Tessa posted something on Instagram I open Instagram and see that she posted the picture with her and Robert.

" do you have cola maybe" I ask him. " yeah of course " he walks inside. " Tess you really think this is a good idea" I look at her. " what do you mean" she looks at me confused and I know that she knows what I'm talking about " I know you want Hardin to get jealous you just posted the picture of you two on your Instagram" I shake my head " you still follow him". " I'm just happy right now Landon don't blow that up alright" she takes her whine and take a sip. " I just want to protect you Tessa" i look at her.
" you don't have to protect me Landon you left not me I got bullied not you I fell in love with a guy that I was just a bet for " I know she say this because of the alcohol. I wanted to say something but see Robert coming outside with a glass of cola. " here you go" he hands me the glass. " thanks" I put the glass to my mouth and drink it all. " I think it's time to go" I stand up.
" already" Tessa looks at me sad we never should have go with him to his place " yeah Tessa it's already late and we see him tomorrow " I smile at Robert. " alright" she puts her glass on the table. " I will give you two a ride home" Robert stand up and walk inside and take his car keys. We walk towards the car and get inside. After about 15 minutes we arrived at my house. I step out of the car " thank you for the ride and see you tomorrow " I close the door. " your welcome and see you guys tomorrow" Robert say driving away. I walk with Tessa towards the door and open it. I walk inside and close the door.
" I'm sorry Landon" she looks at me with tears in her eyes. I walk towards her and pull he into a hug. " go get some sleep Tess we will talk about it in the morning" I see her nod and walk upstairs. I walk behind her and get into my room and close the door behind me. I get undressed and put on my pyjama's and lay down on my bed. I take my phone and put it on my desk and close my eyes. I feel my eyes getting heavier before everything is black.
