You wake up, the sun rays coming in through the windows. You sit up to see your love not in bed, but she hadn't been gone that long, her scent was still lingering around the room. You get out of the bed and get dressed in simple shorts and t-shirt. You leave the room and make your way to the Winter's bedroom, you give a soft knock, you hear shuffling before the door opens revealing Mia. She opens the door wider and invites you in, you walk in to see baby Rose playing with some toys on the floor and Ethan still sleeping in the bed. You turn to the very sleepy Mia and give a small giggle.
"Long night?" you asked
She gives you a wide eyed stare
"You have no idea." she muttered
You gave a small giggle and sat next to Rose, she giggled and wattled to you, giving you a morning hug. You smile and hold on to Rose before playing with one of her toys. That's when you get an idea.
"What if I take Rose for a little bit. That way you could sleep a little more and Rose and I can get some bonding time."
Mia thinks for a moment, but eventually sighs and nods.
"But if anything happens to her, that's the last time you're within 5 feet of her."
You smile and nod, giving her a playful salute before picking up Rose and walking out the room, calling out a 'yes ma'am' before closing the door. You look at Rose and smile.
"How about we go see if your cousins are awake?"
Rose just giggled in response and you walked to Dani's room. You give a small knock and listen.
"Go awaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy!" she groaned
You open the door to reveal a very sleepy Daniela, she's hiding under the covers, a pillow covering her head.
"Wake up Dani." you say
She groans and throws a pillow at you, which you easily dodge.
"Noooooooooo!" she whines
Rose makes a baby noise and Dani looks over to the noise. She jumps out of bed, a huge smile on her face.
"Can we play with her!" she questions
You laugh. 'So much for being sleepy.' you think.
"When you wake up your sisters, we'll be waiting in the library."
Dani gives a cheerful squeal and speeds away in her fly swarm. You give a chuckle and make your way to the library. When you get there you use the nearby pillows and blankets to make a nest-like play area. You set Rose down and some toys you picked up when you were with Mia. Rose giggles and squeals with joy as she plays with her toys.
Eventually you hear the all too familiar buzzing before all three sisters buzz into the room, repairing near the small play area. They're all cleaned up and dressed, no weapons in sight, this makes you relax a little, sure you trust and love your new daughters with all your heart, but it's still scary to introduce a baby. They crawl onto the blankets and look at Rose curiously. Rose, being a baby, just laughs at their faces and continues playing with her toys.
"Hi Rose." Bela says softly
She sits next to the baby and ruffles her hair. Rose grabs at her dress and starts to climb onto her, Bela freezes, not knowing what to do, as Rose flops onto her chest.
"She wants a hug Bela." you chuckle
Bela finally unfreezes and hugs Rose back, her flies buzzing with excitement. You all play with Rose for a little while in the library before the girls start to get bored, Rose included.
