Y/N's POV
It's been nearly three days since Miranda had stumbled onto your doorstep and thrown into your basement. You made sure no one was allowed down there which made your daughters groan but they understood once you told them who was down there. You had also forbidden Alcina from going down there, but only for her mental well being. If she saw Miranda again you were afraid she'd try, keyword, try to kill her or break down again. Surprisingly but also not, she didn't really fight you on it, especially after you told her your reasoning.
You finally meet Misty in front of the door to the basement. She was wearing her white hair in a messy ponytail, and a flowy black dress. Golden bracelets covered her wrist and hoop earrings embedded themselves in her ears. She even wore a silver owl necklace, a blue jade embedded in the eyes. Misty looked you over before greeting you back.
"A hello to you too Y/N." she greeted, "So how are we to do this?"
"How am I supposed to know?" you say, folding your arms, "You know her better than I do."
"How about good cop bad cop?"
"Whatever works."
You walk into the dungeon, Misty close behind, until you reach Miranda's cell. She lifts her head at the noise, the chain on her neck rattling. You swallow hard at the sight. You hated seeing anything tight around someone's neck, it reminded you all too well of the choking feeling of something wrapped around your own neck. You shook your head slightly and took a deep breath. You both enter the cell and stand in front of the seated Miranda, you on the left and Misty on the right.
"What now?" she spits out, her lips contorting into a sneer
"We just want to ask some questions." Misty said
"Well, ask away."
"Miranda, do you consider yourself evil?"
Miranda stayed silent as Misty eyed her.
"She asked you a question." you growl out, your anger beginning to surface. You had been short tempered these past three days and you were not in the mood for anything.
"I know mutt, you said you'd ask me questions. But I never said I'll answer them."
You were beyond pissed at this point, and it showed. You felt your lips lift into a snarl and your voice became rough.
"Listen here bird bitch. We have the power here. We are in control. We ask the questions and all you have to do is answer."
Miranda looked you in the eye, and boy was that a mistake. The room fell silent as you just stared into each other's eyes, both refusing to back down. Her icy blue eyes stared into your emerald green ones, unblink, unwavering.
"Miranda I suggest lowering your gaze, I don't think trying to stare down a wolf is a good idea."
Miranda just gave a small mirthless laugh, never breaking her gaze.
"Misty you know I stared down the lycan boss just for fun, just to see it cower before me. I doubt a small pup like her could do anything to me."
That was it, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. You let out a deep growl and pin Miranda to the wall, your hand tight around her throat, but still never breaking eye contact. You could see the fear in Miranda's icy blue eyes. Your wolf sturred, slightly awoken, it could smell it, taste it. Her fear was intoxicating, her fear gave you power.
"That lycan you were speaking of. Didn't he have a hammer."
Her eyes widened in surprise.
"Yes?"
