Finally Ethan had fallen asleep, it has been difficult to get him to sleep after what happened. You place a now sleeping Rose on the bed and open the drawer and grab the journal. Taking a deep breath and turn the first page, your hands shake as you begin to read the context inside.

You turn to the first page, it only makes sense to start at the beginning. You let out a small sigh and looked over to see if Ethan and Rose were sleeping, when you saw their still peaceful bodies you began reading. This was going to be a long night.

What is W-Exe
The W-Exe virus is a bio weapon used with the genetic makeup of any wolf species and the Experimental Xenomorph Expansion Mold project.

The Exe is a man made mold variant composed of parts of the most aggressive types of the mold virus, including the megamycete and E-001's variant. The wolf species is different for every vile, but we are yet to compose a more...aggressive variant.
The goal is to make a bio weapon so strong and aggressive, yet able to listen to commands without question. With that in mind the W-Exe virus needs a live human host, if put in a wolf the animal will immediately parish, as their bodies are not suitable or strong enough to handle the variant. With a dead human host the virus dies after 2 hours of exposure.
After many tests we figured that young human hosts are better suited for the virus, adults are too developed and do not listen as easily. Every 100 patients only one survives and even then the 1 survivor has a 1 out of 5 chance to live through the transformation, and another 1 out of 3 chance not to commit self termination. If the subject survives all three stages then they can be trained.
With the virus aging is not a problem, if the patient is under 20 years old, the subject will continue to age until their 20th birthday. They will continue to age, but not physically show it. No subjects above the age of 20 have survived. With the virus, subjects are immortal, being able to regenerate deteriorating cells in their body and stop the aging process completely, along with incredible regeneration, they are able to heal almost any and all wounds.
We have only one successful subject, a small 10 year old by the name of Y/N Lorann. She is the only successful result out of nearly 1,000 subjects.
