Miranda's POV

You took a sip of your tea in the living room when a sharp knock at the front door startled you.

"I'll get it!" Misty groaned

She was always sweet like that. Well as sweet as a ghost pepper.

"Oh Alci, we weren't expect-"

"Where's Miranda?" she spat, cutting Misty off.

You could feel Misty's glare from here as well as her crossing her arms and tilting her hips.

"Now Alcina, I don't think it'd be very nice to demand things in my house."

"But-"

"And don't pull that 'you've been dead for 50 years' bullshit on me. This is still my house so you are going to treat it and everyone in it with respect."

Alcina groaned but responded.

"Fine."

"Good, now we are going to go inside and have a normal conversation.

You heard the heavy and muffled footsteps of Alcina and Misty. They soon came into sight and you sighed a bit, you prayed to the black gods that this encounter wouldn't end in disaster. Alcina glared at you and you tried your best to not snap, that would only make things worse.

"Please sit, I'll go make you some blooded tea." Misty pushes Alcina to the chair across from you and you bury your face in your tea.

Misty disappears and you want to slap the shit out of her. She always did this shit, forcing you to do things you didn't want to do.

"You'll thank me later!" you hear Misty shout from the kitchen and you feel the heat rush to your cheeks. It's like she can read your mind.

"So, what do you wish to speak to me about?" you mutter, taking another sip of your tea

Alcina glares at you. Her golden eyes piercing into your soul. You shuttered slightly, remembering her words from when you were chained up in her basement.

"You were never my mother!" Alcina screeched, her voice was filled with anger

You didn't say anything. You couldn't say anything. She didn't love you. But you still cared for her. When she was dying from her disease, you helped her, even if there were...some after effects. But she still lived.

"You promised me a cure for my disease! But look what happened instead! It turned me into a monster!"

You snap back to reality with a shutter, you look into the teacup sitting in your lap, the steaming beverage making your legs warm.

"It's about Y/N." she started, her voice cold

Your eyes snap up. Although you had wanted Y/N for other purposes, you've seen firsthand that she makes Alcina happy, so hearing about her, especially after she accidentally walked into Misty's nightmare, worried you a bit.

"We found some information about her mutation and there is something about her that I think you would know more about."

You nodded for her to continue, giving her your full attention.

"I need to know more about her...mating behaviors."

Your eyes widened in shock, but you weren't really surprised. After all, Y/N and Alcina were still engaged and her wolf most likely agreed to that.

"Well," you start, licking your lips in deep thought, "What has she done so far?"

"She's imprinted her scent on me and is now becoming territorial."

You hum in understanding.

"I only know a little, but enough to give you a vague idea."

She nodded waiting for you to continue, but before you could say anything else Misty came back in with a tray. Her snow white hair was pulled into a messy bun and she was wearing a simple dark blue dress. Her bare feet patted on the ground as she walked up to you both.

"Here you go." she said, setting the tray on the coffee table.

She hands Alcina a tea cup and glances at you. Alcina takes a sip and her eyes widen in surprise. When she speaks her voice shakes a little.

"Thank you Misty...it still tastes the same."

"Of course Alcina." Misty beams like a child

You give a small smile and a warm feeling blooms in your chest. It was funny how history seemed to repeat itself, only this time, it won't repeat the same way. Alcina turns back to you, her eyes burning into your soul, Misty looks between the two of you and slowly backs away, but not quite leaving the room.

"W–well Alcina," you stammered a bit. You silently curse yourself for letting your walls break under her stare. "In what month is her birthday?"

"November."

'Shit.' you thought to yourself.

"Do you know the exact date?"

"I think the 16th. Why?"

You didn't answer her, instead you address Misty.

"Misty, what is the moon phase on November 16th?"

"Let me check."

She walks away to her room and comes back a moment later.

"Full."

"Is it a regular moon, nothing like a blood moon or..."

"Miranda, a blood moon doesn't happen for another 50 years, you of all people should know this. And no, it's not a normal moon, it's a super moon."

"Shit!" you groan as you fall back into your seat

"What is going to happen Miranda?!" Alcina shouts

"I don't know for sure, but I have some theor-"

"To hell with theories!" she shouted, banging her fist on the table and rising from her seat, "I need facts, answers!"

"If I could give you facts I would, but I'm learning with you! I have no fucking idea whats going to happen to Y/N, but if you let me help you, we could get through this!" you yell back, your anger bubbling to the surface

You both breath heavily as both of you calm down. Alcina looks at you and speaks.

"Miranda I'm-"

The phone rang and you all whip your heads to the sound. Misty quickly answers it. As she's speaking her eyes widen and she gives a small 'We'll be right there.' before hanging up.

"Alcina we need to go. Now!" Misty panicked

"What! Why? Did something happen?!"

Misty didn't answer as she quickly grabbed yours and Alci's hand before using her magic to teleport all of you to the castle. What you saw made your eyes widen in surprise and your jaw dropped.
