The Void
"Wolf?"
"I'm here..."
"S-she's back...she's in our cellar..."
"I know. But she can't hurt us I-"
"It's not us I'm worried about...its-"
"Our mate? Our cubs?"
"...Ya."
"We won't let her even remotely close to them."
"Promise?"
"Of course."
Y/N's POV
You wake up, your body is sore and tired, your head pounding. You open your eyes and examine the room you were in. It was your room, you sat up and looked around, your love was nowhere in sight and by her smell, she hadn't been in the room for a while. Panic rose to your throat and you carefully leaped off the bed, making your way to the door. You rubbed the goosebumps on your skin as you walked out the bedroom and into the hall. You make your way to the Winter's room and give a quick knock to the door.
Mia opened the door, she smiled when she saw you and you gave a small one in return. She opened the door and let you in, you walked in and saw Ethan packing a bag and Rose on the floor with her toys.
"Are you guys leaving?" you asked confused
"Sorry Y/N but we think it's the best course of action, I-"
"No Ethan, it's quite alright. To be honest I don't want you guys here for this, especially little Rose."
Ethan nods and gives you a smile, relieved that you weren't angry at them. You helped them by keeping little Rose occupied while her parents packed. When they were done you walked them to the front door, making sure there the crow would attack you shook Ethan's hand and gave Mia a hug. As you released Mia she slipped something in your hands, pretending it wasn't there. You give the Winter's one last goodbye before they spread off in the castle carriage. You saw a lycan prowling nearby and told it to have some of them follow the Winter's and make sure they get to their car safely. The lycan nodded and sped off into the cold.
You stay outside a little longer. The air was a bit chilly as autumn was coming faster than expected, the leaves slowly turning from a vibrant green to beautiful browns, reds, and yellows. Out of all the seasons, this one was the most beautiful in your opinion. You smiled and went back into the castle, the chilly air making you cold. You walk around the castle before coming to the library. When you walk in you see Dani curled up on one of the couches reading a book. You smile at the sight and walk up to her.
"Hey Dani."
Daniella's head snaps towards you and a huge grin appears on her face. She quickly gave you a hug, her flies buzzing with excitement.
"Mom you're okay!" she cried
You rubbed her back and pulled her tighter. You had only been out for seemingly a few hours. You felt Dani's wet tears on your shoulder and pulled her tighter, whispering sweet nothings in her ear.
"Dani, how long was I out?"
"Almost two days."
You nod. Two days?! How? Were you really that exhausted? All you remember is Misty restraining you and then blacking out, your body relaxing.
"Where's your sisters?"
"They're coming back right now. They went to find something for me."
You nod again and lead Dani to one of the bigger couches. She pushes you down and climbs on top of you, laying there. You smile at her behavior, you most likely worried her and the others. You held her close, keeping an ear out for her sisters.
