Olivia's POV:
The next thing I knew was me laying on the football pitch after being hit with the ball one of the boys had kicked."Watch it!" Blake screamed.
She ran to me and kneeled down.
"You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine," I said, holding my head with my right hand. "Hopefully."
"Here," she said and gave me my iced tea. "You deserved it," she smiled mischievously.
"Don't you say!" I said and grabbed it, our peaceful moment being interrupted by some random boy coming to us.
"It's not your job being here!" he said with his tone raised.
"It's not yours to hit random girls with the ball either," Blake defended me.
"It was an accident!" another boy said.
"Accidents wouldn't have happened if you had been a little bit more careful!" she continued.
"It's not our faulty that your friend was running in the way of the ball," the first one said.
"You know what?" Blake said, quickly standing up.
"What?!" the same boy snapped.
"Don't," I almost whispered, catching the hand of Blake, who watched me amazed. She turned her cold gaze to the boys.
"If she wasn't here, you would have seen what an angry best friend can do," she hissed, making the boys shiver.
"Whatever," one of the other boys said. "Let's get back to training."
And it hit me again.
"Training?" I asked, slowly standing up, still dizzy and weak.
"For the football team," he said confidently. "Why?" his expression changing to a confused one.
"Just asking," I said with a glimpse of light in my eyes.
"VAN," another one of the boys screamed, and the one in front of us just sprinted back to them.
"What was that about?" Blake asked me, catching me through my waist, so I can walk easier.
"Nothing," I said and grabbed my bag. "I finally figured out what club I'm going to," I said proudly.
"Really?" Blake exclaimed. "Finally!"
"But which club?" she finally asked. "Please tell me the cheerleading squad. Please, please," she pleaded with her hands in front of her.
"Kind of..." I started. "I'm going to the football team!"
She stared at me.
"Really?" she asked way more excitedly than I had expected.
"Mhm," I nodded. "I'm gonna try out for the girls' team."
"Yay!" she exclaimed. "We're going to be together in matches, and I'll cheer, and-"
"Woah, woah, woah, calm down a little," I caught her before she could jump. "Let's see if I even make the team. It's the middle of the year, after all."
"Well, yeah, but you know me. Positive energy on max," she smiled.
"Let's get to Biology because I don't want to be late,"I suddenly turned stern.
"Okay," Blake said, laughing at my serious expression.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," she laughed, and we started walking to the science building, me also laughing under my breath.
