Olivia's POV:

Okay, keeping secrets is hard. Extremely hard.

While trying not to spill out the fact that I am obsessed by the World Cup, I had a few accidents that almost revealed the thing that I didn't want anybody to know.

*flashback*

I was already into football, and I knew one-two things like some of the most famous players, the rules (not all, though), and of course which team to be a fan of for the World Cup and in general. Of course, this didn't happen that suddenly. I needed time because I was really into school and didn't want to miss anything or have bad grades.

For most of the games, I was neutral, but I know that half of you might hate me for it, buuuut I really like Messi (a little bit more than Ronaldo, but he's still a great player). I like the way he plays, and I definitely want Argentina to win this year. I don't know why, but I just feel like this is right.

Just like that.

Along with the good emotions and the unforgettable  matches, there were also really awkward and almost revealing my secret moments...

(1) Third Person POV:
Olivia was watching the Ghana vs Korea match. It was the 80th minute and was going really well for  Ghana. Liv was having a lot of fun watching it and adding new pieces of information to her football knowledge until the unfortunate moment.

Her mother got back home. Olivia panicked.

She had to lower the volume, change to another channel, and turn off the TV quickly.

Seconds after the girl had her plan in action, her
mother came through the door only to find her older daughter watching SpongeBob.

"What are you doing?" The mother asked.

"Watching TV," Liv answered.

"And why are you watching SpongeBob?"

"Because...I...wanted to?"

"I thought you hate that cartoon," she said while taking something out of the fridge.

"Yeah, I thought so too, but it's actually really cool."

"Okay," and with that the older woman went to the bathroom while the exhausted from hiding and trying to protect her secret daughter was just feeling in total relief about her successful, although not fully accomplished, plan and the successful outcomes of it being still keeping her secret and the wave of relief that came to her body.

When we talk about outcomes...What was the result of the match?!

(2) Olivia's POV:
I was checking some random football players' Instagram stories, and I must say that it's pretty thrilling to see what these people are actually doing. Like...in that way we see how theses people are actually people. Like us.

Suddenly my amazing moment of solitude but great happiness, was disturbed by Paige, approaching me from somewhere. I couldn't switch the screen, and Paige inevitably saw what I was looking at.

"What are you looking at?" she asked.

"Oh...Uhm, nothing," I rubbed my neck nervously.

"Mhm..." she said almost sarcastically. "Were that some kind of athletes?"

" Uhm...yeah. My...sister is a big fan of football, and she...somehow got my profile in Instagram, "I started."She has that problem with hers...You know?" it was so awkward. "And yeah, now she has occupied my account, followed some football players, and I was super surprised who were those people that I've followed and didn't remember, so yeah."
