Olivia's POV:
As soon as I went to the metro, I finally understood how dumb I was. I had forgotten my headphones, and I couldn't listen to some Spanish music to get hyped for the training. Not that I'm not now, but hey, nothing's wrong with some more energy, right? But yeah...that wasn't the only problem. At this point, I was trying not to think about how my friend circle was falling apart. I mean, I've been distracting myself with school, homework, football, the future trainings, music. Basically I have totally forgotten about the situation. Until now.
I wish I hadn't left my headphones home.
To be honest, the situation has been pretty calm lately. I haven't expected it. Really. I was successfully avoiding Ava and everything that surrounded her, which didn't have any consequences.
Well...almost.
*flashback*
I was sitting in my Math class, and what can I say? Math class. It's not my favorite, but I still somehow manage to do okay in it.
Our teacher, Ms. Gray, decided to give us a problem to do in our notebooks and call her over to check it when we are done.
The problem wasn't something we haven't studied, but I have a little bit of problem with understanding Math. I guess, it's just not my strength.
However, I did the problem with a bit of difficulty at some points, but the good news is that I'd done it. I called Ms. Gray to see if it was correct. She came calmly and looked at my notebook.
"Change this number here," she said, and I saw my mistake, mentally slapping myself."I think everything else is fine. Good job," she said walked off to another student that turned out to be Ava.
"Perfect," the teacher said and walked to her desk, not seeing other students with raised hands.
The one thing I saw, however, was Ava watching me with a proud expression, and I didn't even understand what had happened.
*end of flashback*
Yeah, that was an uhm...strange situation, but I actually had forgotten it. Until now.
But to confess...I may have or may have not talked with Paige and Mia about the situation too...
*flashback*
"Hey," I approached them as they were sitting on their lunch table.
"Hey," Paige said a bit awkwardly.
"Can I..." I hesitated. "sit here?"
"Yeah, go on," Mia said with a weak smile.
I sat on the chair on which I was between the gazes of both Mia and Paige.
"I wanted..." I stopped and fidgeted my fingers. "To apologise about how I was behaving these past few days."
"Liv..." Paige started.
"No, wait," I wanted to explain. "I really am sorry because I shouldn't have left you like that after what happened with Ava..." I was almost going to start crying. "I just wanted some time to think about it. On my own," I revealed. "And the first thing I wanted to do when I have gone through the whole situation by myself was to apologise to you two," I said and looked at the table. "You are really important for me, and I don't want to lose-"
"Liv," Mia took my hand. "Everything is fine-"
"We understand," Paige ended.
"And you're not mad?" I asked amazed.
