I stopped filming before he reached me. Shutting my phone off as I returned back to my book. The daggers from his eyes piercing as he approached.

"What the hell did you do to my car." He ground out as he stood a foot away from me.

I looked his way, an eyebrow raised while I placed my bookmark carefully in my book.

"What did I do? I wouldn't touch your car with a ten foot pole. Hate to break if to you, Cameron, but that artwork isn't me. And is that some sort of plastic on the hood?" I asked as I looked around the angry blond. My tone wasn't nearly defensive enough as a held back my laughter.

"This isn't fucking funny. I know you did it." I rose from my bike, putting my book in my bag safely.

"And that's where you're still wrong, Cameron. Clearly it's easier to accuse me than to try and actually figure out who called your ass a princess or a clown. Though I will say, the castle on the back is a nice touch." His nostrils flared as he ran both of his hands through his hair. Messing up the slicked back aspect as a few strands fell onto his forehead.

"You," he pointed a finger at me, "you have no idea what's coming."

"Excuse me?" I spat, stepping towards him. "If you didn't hear me the first two times. I didn't do that." I pointed over his shoulder to his jeep. We had gathered the crowd by now. Everyone listening intently as Rafe stepped closer. Our shoes inches away from touching as he got closer to me. My head tilted backwards as I looked aggressively at him.

"Xena Darling," he whispered lowly, making my heart start to panic as I forced composure, "I know you anywhere. Bandana or not. No disguise could cover your movements that are unique to you." My eyes were definitely the size of golfballs as he smirked chuckling lowly, his body leaning closer to keep his next words between us. "I know it was you, because I saw you." I gulped as I roughly stepped backwards.

My heart in my ears as I feigned innocent one last time for the crowd. Rafe's smirk never leaving as he probably heard my desperation to get away from him.

"You can fuck off with your false accusations, Cameron." I seethed before power-walking away his words lingering in my ears.

little movements... so unique... no idea what's coming... no disguise... I saw you...

...Xena Darling

He's such an asshole. This was supposed to be a funny start to the morning and now I'm being haunted by his voice.

Fuck.

I was glad I had moved to a desk far away from Rafe. Anytime I was near him I could hear his voice. Those stupid, smug, confident words. It made me want to jump out the window in hopes I'd get a concussion.

Xena Darling.

"Oh for the love of chicken!" I seethed as I slammed my hands on the library desk. Even after school and the class we shared I was still in my head.

I saw you.

"Fuck this." I groaned rising and packing my items before fleeing my once safe haven and racing to my bike.

I needed to go for a dri- "WHAT THE FU-" I choked on my words.

My nostrils flared and my fists clenched. The air completely gone from my lungs as I looked on in anger.

Bastard. Fucking bastard. But shit if he didn't get me good.

Instead of my nice black motorcycle waiting for me in the parking lot a very horrible looking bike was staring at me back.

"Oh, you poor thing." I whined as I knelt beside my bike. The color a horrible bright pink with hot pink swirls covered in, "glitter?" My vision blurred as I noticed the neon pink ribbons tied in large bows around the tires.

My bike looked like a toddler's art project. All it needed was a unicorn sticker or a mermaid tail and I'd be convinced one of the kids I tutor would have done it.

"Free of charge!" My head snapped over to the voice which yelled across the parking lot at me. The jeep sitting in the way back was running and the driver leaning out the window. "I got a matching helmet if you wanted."

"Fuck you, Cameron!" I shouted as I wiped beneath my eyes and rose to my feet.

"Give me a time and a place, Darling." I growled as I reach down to a rock which was conveniently placed near me. My hand releasing the palm sized stone in his direction.

His laughter echoed as he drove away. The stone dropping several yards away from where his jeep had been.

I groaned in despair as my attention return to the Barbie bike. Actual car paint was used meaning it wouldn't come off with some soap and hard scrubbing. I was going to have to get a paint job.

Or, a new bike.

"Remind me why I'm picking you up from the paint shop?" John B asked as I plopped down in the front seat.

"Because you're a really good friend who didn't want their friend to have to walk back home." I voiced batting my eyes.

"Okay, you cut that out or I'm kicking you out of this car." I rolled my eyes laughing as I shut the door.

"Cameron did a number on my bike, so I need a new paint job. They won't be finished until Saturday."

"That's a long time. You riding with your mom to school." I sighed.

"I'm gonna have to."

"Or you could transfer schools and I can take you?" I shook my head smiling.

"B, as much fun as that would be. I'm nearly done with Junior year. Heck I only have to take two more classes and I could graduate in December. Transferring now would throw me for a loop- I'd prefer to stick it out. Besides, Rafe Cameron just opened a can of worms. Unfortunately for him I can be too literal."

"That smirk gives me goosebumps. I pity that man." The Twinkie filled with our laughter as we drove to my house. A script play-by-play for my Ma written on my notes app.

This will be fine. Everything will be fine.
