"I'm gonna go inside, JJ should have sent a text or something." I said moving before I even finished my sentence. I was antsy, it had only been a minute since Rafe and his goons went inside but my gut was telling me that it was all it took.

"Um, okay, we'll be out here." I rolled my eyes at Kie as she spoke with a hint of attitude. But it's Kie, when did she not have attitude.

My eyes widened as I saw a wake of madness inside the building. Chairs were being picked up, people being checked on.

"Um, excuse me, was there a party of boys running through here like hooligans?" I asked politely to one of the waiters and he quickly pointed me in the direction.

I had hope when I heard a bunch of ruckus coming from around the corner. My lips pursing as I realized that ruckus was coming from the men's restroom and locker room.

"Shit." I stepped out of the way as the door swung open to let an elder gentleman out my eyes widening as I saw Rafe and the back of Kelce holding someone in a head lock.

I swung my head side to side, knowing that I'd be in the wrong if I ran inside to help JJ. My eyes locked on a security guard as he came around the corner making me wave at him.

"Excuse me, sir! I was walking past and I heard a ruckus. It sounds like someone is going to get hurt."

"Don't worry, I'll go check on it. Thank you for alerting me." I sighed watching him disappear into the restroom. The lights flash a few times as murmurs trickled through the door.

"You're lookin' spiffy, too. You Powerpuff Girls have fun." I snorted as I heard JJ mock the boys, clearly the security guard was able to help him out.

"Tell Kiara she looks pretty hot for a Pogue!" My hands clenched as I heard Rafe yell, the muffled sounds of a tussle came through before I heard the security guard shout.

"Hey, safe travels back to the Cut. Let Xena know if she wants we can go somewhere private and keep dancing."

I clenched my jaw and pictured me strangling Rafe slowly.

"This ain't over!" JJ shouted as the bathroom door opened. The security guard lugging him out of the room. I gave the guy a hand, holding the door open.

"Hey, it was really nice seeing you again, JJ!" I came into view as I got ready to close the door, Rafe's smug look faltering as I cocked my head.

"What? Not willing to extend your invite again? If you get the balls, you have my number. I'll happily give you a matching set of stiches." I heard his squad of boys hiss as if they had been stung. As the door slammed shut. They weren't laughing anymore.

"I thought you said JJ, did that with his ring." One of the others asked as I walked away.

"Shut up, Jaxon." I shook my head grabbing my dress in my right hand as I took off after JJ.

"Fucking Pogue."

"Fucking Kook."

"It's okay everybody, do not panic. Leave it to the men and women in uniform." I opened the back door to see JJ shouting in the crowd, drawing unwanted attention.

"Oh my," I stifled a groan as I jogged over to Kie standing right beside her.

"Let's hear it for them. Rose! You look like Lady Liberty." I snorted as JJ pointed backwards.

"Oh this is awful." Kie whispered but we both were concealing our laughter.

"Let go of him!" Kie shouted, finally stepping in, "you can't boot him!" We stood at the stairs and the porch as the crowd went silent. Watching the spectacle.

"Excuse me, ma'am?"

"Really?" I glance out of the corner of my eye to see Rafe leaning against a pillar. His usually smug expression back.

"I invited him here." Kie continued as her parents moved to quiet her down.

"Kiara, stop it."

"I'm a member of this club." Kie said. And as if that was a cue, JJ pushed the guard over as I turned to Rafe. His eyes glinted in the warm fairy lights.

A smile on my own lips as I took a step forward and popped the hand holding his glass of alcohol. The drink sprays all over his face and suit as I rose a hand delicately, no one seeing as everyone was focused on JJ.

"Hey, mandatory power hour at Rixon's, girls."

"Oops, my bad." I gave a small pout, "slipped."

Rafe wiped his face with his left hand while his right clenched the glass so hard I'd thought it would break.

"Xena." He warned lowly, but I was already gone. My hand grabbed Kie's as we took off down the stairs.

"Workers of the world unite, throw off your chains! Whoo!" I couldn't help but laugh as Kie and I ran after him.

"Tallen!" I spared a look behind me to see Rafe pointing a finger at me with his glass in hand.

"Sorry, Love, no time to waste! I'll be home in the morning!" I mocked turning back around and running. I sent Kie on ahead as I ran over to Pope and Heyward.

"Heyward, I promise your son is gonna be fine. It's time for a well deserved break, let's go Pope." I hung onto Pope's shoulders as Heyward argued, but Pope was already convinced.

"Don't do this. Don't do this. Where the hell you think you're goin'!" I cheered as Pope grabbed my hand and we ran over to the rest of the gang.

Pope wrapped John B in a hug as JJ swung Kie around. My head turning as I caught my mom smiling and Gray giving me a small wave.

How freaking lucky did I get.

I couldn't help but let out a sharp cry of joy, pouring my soul into the noise as we continued to make our escape. Our laughter ringing while we ran away from the pressing weight of social status.

A sharp crack of glass breaking was deafened by the hollers of our freedom.
