"No, thats a really good idea. Let the axe murderer know that we're here." Kie pipped up, sarcasm dripping from her tongue.

"Throw a rock at it? Really?" Pope poked at John B.

"You have a better idea?" The brunet spat back.

"Why don't we find a breaker and cut the power?" I asked looking at the other five. Sarah nodded, jumping on my idea.

"Yeah, there's a breaker on the porch, in the circuit box." I rose an eyebrow at the blonde.

"How do you-"

"We used to play hide-and-seek here as kids." My mouth fell open as an audible noise of understanding past the air. "And if we were brave enough, we'd go all the way up to the porch. I've seen it."

"No, no. You're not going in the house alone." John B shot down the idea.

"Watch me." I smirked at the blonde as she challenged John B.

"Crain chops people into pieces." JJ added as if he wasn't raving about it earlier in the Twinkie.

"If you believe that, but she's like what, 85?"

"Yeah something like that."

"She's probably barely still kicking." Sarah rebuttaled.

"Here, I'll go with you." Kie offered, a smile on my face as I watched the two look at each other. They seemed to have done more than make a truce. I think they might have gotten a closer to reconciliation than they thought.

"Yeah." Sarah nodded liking their idea.

"You should g-" I turned and gave John B a look that shut him up. My eyes telling him everything as the lower half of my face was covered. "My bad." He rose his hands.

"We'll wait for your signal." I spoke clearing the girls to go.

"Okay, cool." Sarah seemed nervous but we all were.

"Hey!" Everyone froze, turning to John B. "Be safe." My eyes blew wide as I looked at Pope and JJ.

"We will." Sarah and Kie started off, my hand covering my mouth over my bandana as I tried not to laugh as I watched JJ and Pope.

"Be safe." JJ whispered seductively as he turned and held Pope's cheek. Pope's hand rising to cup the blond's arm.

"I'll be so safe. I'll be safe for you." A muffled giggle escaped me as John B groaned.

"Can you guys stop? Stop!" He hissed as I moved a hand on his shoulder.

"It's fine. It's endearing how whipped you are." JJ and Pope went into a fit of quiet laughter as John B groaned at my words.

"I'm gonna kill you. All three of you."

"But how would that keep us safe?" I barely caught the laughter as it escaped me. Pope was too quick with his reply and I was still having delirious laughter effects.

I rolled backwards onto the grass as I let myself laugh at the response. My eyes tearing up for the second time today as the guys watched.

"Yo, I want whatever she's on." JJ laughed at himself as I finally calmed down. My breath coming heavy as I focused on controlling my breathing.

"There's no way that was that funny." I sat up, patting John B's back.

"Trust me, everything is funnier when I'm cranking on a few hours of sleep. And if that wasn't directed at you, you'd be laughing too."

I finally settled down as we all crept to look around the bush. The motion sensor light still on as we waited.

Clearly JJ felt that was a perfect time to start his stories again.

"They said when Hollis disappeared-" Pope cut him off angrily.

"That you should shut the eff up."

"Whoa, Pope. Easy there buddy. You almost cussed." I joked. Pope rolled his eyes as we once again returned to silence.

A heavy thunk filled the air causing us to look at the house and to our delight, the power faded out. The lights shut off meaning the girls had done it.

"They did it. Go time." John B ordered as everyone grabbed their supplies.

"Let's do it." Pope whispered as we all crouched in a weird circle.

"Three, two..." I got impatient and stood, walking between the three goons, JJ fast to follow. "Just, just go." John B voiced defeat as him and Pope hopped up and joined us.

We moved quick, JJ passing me as he led the rest of the way into the basement. He dropped down first with a hefty thud, I stopped and let Pope and John B go next as I waited a moment outside.

Once I heard the three drop, I hopped down next. My hands holding on to the outside of the brick as I swung down, my toes hitting first as I made a soft thud.

"Show off." Pope grumbled as I moved next to him.

"I try." I undid my bag and grabbed the pulley waiting to see what the plan was. The boards had already been removed from over the hole making me think the boys came earlier today while we were all changing.

"Holy crap, you know what this is? It just hit me. Pope, look." JJ pulled his bandana down as he rose one side of the rope. "This is C.H.U.D. Full C.H.U.D." I furrowed my brows.

"What is he talking about?" John B and I asked at the same time, both looking to Pope for answers.

"Cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers? Have you not seen that film?" John B and Pope both vocalized their lack of watching as I stood up and passed the pulley to John B.

"JJ, the bigger question is why have you seen that film?" I asked dusting my hands off while I scanned the area.

"It's actually a really good film. It's about like cannibals that live in the sewers and under New York City, and it's like-"

"Shut up! Shut up." John B snapped seconds before I did. "Alright, how deep do you think this is, Pope?"

"I don't know." We all stepped closer, our flashlights poking over the edge. My heart pounding in my ears as I thought about the darkness and the stone walls and the lack of knowing where it ended.

I felt myself stumble backwards as I saw black spots. My head pounding as my heart roared in pain.

"Well. I retract my earlier statement. B, I'm not gonna make it down there. It's gotta be you." The three boys looked at me worry lacing their features as I pulled down my bandana, my skin no doubt pale as I took a few seconds to catch my breath.

I scoffed. "And I thought it was just tight crowds, crawl spaces and passed ten feet of water. Guess I can add wells to my list."
