By the time Rafe slowly walked in I had calmed down and managed to make a snide comment about his limp. However there was no other acknowledgment from him save for a scoff.
This behavior only lasted for the rest of the week as come Monday I was walking into a waterfall from a bucket.
Tuesday Rafe had some honey and feathers sent his way.
Wednesday I had buckets of marbles in my athletics locker spill everywhere.
Thursday Rafe's jeep wheel was clamped and he had to get Sheriff Peterkin to come undo it.
Friday was too quiet. Until I made it to the gym and had to clean a suspicious message written in chalk.
Fortunately- the next week was the Seniors' finals week. Meaning I drew a silent truce as it was my turn to retaliate. Because while all the seniors had their finals- I also had finals in my senior level classes.
But that also meant I'd never have to see Rafe Cameron again. At school. Never again at school- after this week.
And for that, I plan on bring the Prince to his knees once and for all.

"Attention all. This is a public service announcement. It has come to our attention that today is a special day." I held a mask of curiosity as I peered at the foyer from above along with other students. Every student was currently here as we had just gotten out of an assembly wishing the seniors off. "It is the very own birthday of the Kook Prince- Rage Wameron." I snickered as the hoards of students laughed as the announcement continued.
"Please join me in singing Happy Birthday." As the foyer echoed the song, bunches of balloons and confetti fell to the floor along with a poster unraveling.
A graphically designed portrait of an angry Rafe wearing a pink tiara with a lollipop in his mouth shocked the foyer into silence. Until the first girl shrieked and pointed. The rest of the crowd following as everyone moved to get the best view of the poster.
"Oh- and happy graduation seniors." My cd wouldn't be traceable and neither was the voice. Mainly because I had JJ do it and we used Pope's dad's computer to burn the audio message.
"Tallen!" My eyes shot over to the yell and I couldn't help the laugh that escaped my lips. There on the ground floor was Rafe. His glare piercing as he pushed through the crowd in order to reach the stairs.
"Happy Birthday!" I shouted before hightailing it away from him. My hands gripping my backpack as I sprinted for the other set of stairs. My laughter echoing off the walls as I slid down the bannister leaving the angry Kook in the distance.
Thank goodness it was Friday. Even better I only have to come in Monday and Tuesday for my finals next week.
And then it's summer. And that means-
"We're Pogue-ing out!" Cheers erupted as we banged our hands on the table.
"Oi! You hooligans either get out or buy something."
"Dad we're just celebrating before our last week of school." Kie put on her best puppy-dog eyes as she looked at her dad who seemed very adamant about us leaving.
"Yeah- well I've got the Friday Rush coming in thirty minutes. So move it or lose it." I watched the boys getting ready to make a scene but cut in before they could.
"Yes sir, Mr. Carrera. We will be on our way." I sent a glare to the whining children as they complained my way. "Oh quit it. Let's go."
"Thank you, Xena." I smiled at the stressed male.
