My mom had run to the bathroom when the table was infiltrated. I found two boys sitting across from me and one right next to me as I rose an eyebrow at them sitting in my booth.

I sighed, rolling my eyes as I grabbed my glass and took a sip of water. I set the glass down and folded my hands together.

"Please do tell me, what I can do for you gentlemen?" I sassed as I glanced around to see Kiara busy with another table.

"You're the girl from the motorcycle." I smiled at the sentence as I stared at the darker skinned male.

"Correct. Anything else?" I asked coyly as I spun the straw around with my fingers.

"Hi, I'm JJ, you've got to teach me how to do that. Maybe private lessons?" He suggested with wiggling eyebrows. I looked at the blond beside me and laughed.

"In your dreams JJ. The name's Xena." The shaggy haired brunet who had been in the van cleared his throat before speaking.

"Uh, I'm, uh, I'm John B, this is Pope and that's Kiara." John B pointed at the hardworking girl who took another order to the back.

"I'm assuming the four of y'all are kinda like a gang?" I inferred. Pope who was sat across from me frowned but nodded.

"Best of buds." JJ spoke confidently, his left arm lifting as he tried to rest it behind me. I rolled my eyes as I blocked his descent and tossed his arm back towards him.

"Well, was that it? Just a quick introduction?" I asked, glancing towards the bathroom which was still shut.

"Uh, yes and no. We won't bother you any longer, but we saw you were new to town." Pope managed to not stutter and look me in the eye.

"We were going to offer our services as tour guides. You know, before school starts next week." I grinned at JJ's confidence. I thought about the offer. If they were trying to do something I could take care of myself.

"Sure, why the hell not. I'll exchange my number with Kiara after my mom and I finish eating. I'll be in touch." I promised. Clearly that was enough for them as they giddily took off from the booth.

I couldn't help but laugh at their dorkyness as they whooped and hollered on their way out. A grinning blonde took her seat across from me with an eyebrow raise.

"Well aren't you popular." I snorted at her words.

"Ma, they're immature teen boys. And I'm fresh bait. The only reason they had the balls to come up to me was because they're friends with Kiara." I defended.

"Sure, Xena. Whatever helps you sleep at night." I huffed as I picked up a small fry and tossed it at her. She laughed as she threw it back at me.

We ate the rest of our food peacefully, enjoying the sunset on the water threw the window we were next to. When the check came, I made sure to give Kiara my contact information. Her face lighting up as I asked if she knew any good smoothie places around. This conversation led to her and I planning a trip into town tomorrow morning.

"Excited for tomorrow, Kiara!" I shouted as we were leaving.

"I'll be there at 9 sharp! I'll text the address once I'm off the clock." I shot her a thumbs up as we excited The Wreck.

"You've made four new friends already, and you haven't set a foot in the school." I laughed gently pushing my mom.

"Ma, you act like you didn't talk with seven different people in there."

"I'm a butterfly, sue me." We laughed as she moved to unlock her car while I unhooked my bike. I frowned noticing some trash on the asphalt next to my back tire.

"Hey, I'm going to go run this up to the trash can before we go." I spoke as I picked up the brown paper bag with crushed aluminum cans. The sent of beer coming off the soiled paper in waves.

"Hurry. I want to get the wifi set up before it's too late to call in if we need help." I jogged away to the large metal can. Quickly dumping the trash I turned and went to jog back only for something solid to run into me.

I groaned, rubbing my forehead gently as I staggered back. My squinted eyes cracking open to see a young male who was roughly half a foot taller than me. Dirty blond hair and a serious attitude problem as he looked down at his shirt, dusting it off.

"Whoa. Sor-" I stopped apologizing once I saw the phone in his hand. "Dude, you should watch where your going." I voiced as I moved to side step him.

"Excuse me, you're the one who turned into me. Clearly I was walking here." I rose my eyebrows at his tone.

"Hey dipshit, I was in this space before you. I'm not the one who was on their phone not paying attention." I pointed out as I crossed my arms. He seemed to get ready to retaliate back but was interrupted.

"Babe! Come on. They have a booth open for us." We turned our head in the direction of a bubbly blonde in a short dress as she waved at the male I had just run into.

"You should probably keep your nose out of your phone. You may run into more people." I sassed as I walked away towards my bike.

"You should probably open your eyes and make sure it's safe to walk with that attitude of yours." I rose an eyebrow, my fist clenching as I turned to stare at the smug face a few feet away from me. The urge to walk back over to his rich-looking ass.

"You did not just imply I am the one with the attitude." I hissed, giving into his game as a smirk grew on his lips.

"Oh, I certainly did." I went to retaliate when my mom called from me.

"Xena! Let's go!" I growled as I pointed at the dirty blond one last time. A silent threat veiled in my glare.

I left him smirking in silence as I moved over to my bike. Aggressively, I threw my coat on, yanked my gloves over my hands, and pulled my helmet into place. I sent one more glare at the back of his head as he enters with his girlfriend.

Absolute asshole. Fucker wouldn't have apologized anyway. Rich white boy, I've seen enough of those to know.
