"What do you mean you can't hang out tomorrow?" Kie whined as I drank the water she had just handed me.

"I told you Kie, it's the day before classes and I still need to get my uniform. Plus, I normally spend the day helping my Ma. It's tradition." I watched her cleaning the counter as more people can into The Wreck to eat lunch. "But you get off in an hour and we can do whatever you want today." I told her as I snacked on the fruit bowl in front of me.

"Ugh, fine. Whatever I want?" I rose an eyebrow at the girl.

"Yes?" Why did I feel like she was concocting an evil plan.

"There's this party just outside Figure Eight. The boys didn't want to go because they were already planning on fishing today." Kie leaned against the counter and batted her eyes at me.

"I told you whatever you wanted to do. Just don't expect me to be all in. I'll go for you."

"Yes! Okay, you need to go back to your house and pack something more party worthy and meet me back here." Kie instructed as she grabbed a tray ready to be taken to a table. "Better be snappy, I get off in 58 minutes."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes amused at the girl. A small smile crossing my face as I set a ten dollar bill beneath the empty bowl and left The Wreck.

I had barely made it out to my bike when I heard my name being called.

"X!" I turned to the voice to find Kelce jogging over to me.

"Oh, hey, Kelce. What's up?" I knelt down to unlock my bike.

"Whoa, this is a nice ride." He admired.

"It's a Verseys-X 300, with a few custom features. She's a good bike." I unlocked the seat compartment and pulled out my riding gear.

"You take her off road?" I rose an eyebrow as I pulled my jacket on.

"Occasionally if need be. I mainly stick to paved roads. What brings you here?"

"Oh! Uh, me and the guys just finished hanging out and we were coming back to our cars. Then I saw you leaving The Wreck and wanted to say hi." He rubbed his neck and looked down slightly as he admitted his last part.

"Oh, that's kind of you." I held back my laugh at his awkwardness. "Well, I've got to go. Super important errand to run." I voiced as I clipped my helmet and swung my leg over the bike.

"Oh, yeah, I should get going too. Rafe drove me out here and he doesn't like waiting." As of on cue I heard a Jeep honk on the other side of the parking lot.

"Let's go!" A voice faintly shouted.

"See you around Kelce." I chuckled as I reversed out of my parking spot. "Oh, and tell Rag his jeep has a squeaky horn." I pushed the throttle and took off towards the exit before Kelce could get his question out.

"Who is Rag?"

Kie, I literally have no outfits you consider party outfits.
Xe-NA
I sent a photo of a few clothing items she could potentially make an outfit out of: jean shorts, a black crop top, a single long sleeve purple crop top, a silver and black Hawaiian shirt and a solid maroon bikini set.

These will work just fine.
Do the jean shorts, maroon bikini set, and the Hawaiian shirt.
Do you have any jewelry?
Kie

Yes, I have jewelry. I'll throw a few rings and bracelets on, then add a short silver necklace stacked onto the crescent moon I wear.
Xe-NA

Yes! That will look cute.
You might as well change now so you don't have to bring a bag. Plus I still have 30 minutes left in my shift.
Kie

Okay, I'll do hair at your house so it doesn't get messed up with my helmet.
Am I picking you up?
Xe-NA

If you don't mind. Dad and mom are working until close tonight. Supposedly a lot of families are coming in tonight.
Kie

Sounds good.
I'll text when I'm on the way.

I shut my phone off and started changing. A silent murmur of thanks to my past self for shaving last night. I slid the bikini on, tying the halter portion around my neck and the back into two double-knot bows. I pulled on the jean shorts then buttoned up the silver and black Hawaiian top.

I threw my hair into dutch braids before sliding my rings on, more bracelets following. Then I clipped on my arrow charm necklace that sat just at the base of my neck.

I couldn't help but grin at how good I looked. I can clean up when I need to, because damn.

"Ma! I'm headed out to Kie's!" I called out as I grabbed my keys and phone from my bedside table and ran downstairs to slide my red converse on.

"Okay, have fun! I'll see you in the morning!" Was her faded response as she yelled from the kitchen while I exited through the garage.

As soon as I sat on my bike I unbuttoned the Hawaiian shirt and let the fabric hang within my jacket. I sent Kie a message before pulling away from the house. My visor down as I shot down 12th street.
