There was a kingdom by the sea
where Seokjin lived in misery.’

“I'm very hesitant on this but did you—did you cheat on your husband  Taehyung?” Jungkook gulped as he was attacked by Seokjin's eyes, they weren't irked, angered, perturbed or taken aback—they were still and empty. Jungkook knew the answer, it was simple, it was there in the dead eyes of Seokjin.

“Apparently I did.” Seokjin mumbled, a subtle slump on shoulders, his nails digging into the surface of the sofa.

“Not everything we see is supposed to be true? Namjoon showed himself to be an idol brother, a flawless gentleman but his facade has fallen down and his real image clear as day displayed to us. People tend to believe what they see, but sometimes it's much more than just what our sight has caught, it's just the surface we see but the depth yet to be covered.”

“Is it?” Seokjin looked at him poorly.

“I am sure the rumors about you are completely untrue. But these are the ones that spread rapidly like mad fire in dry forest. So rather hiding, you need to face them and prove them to be rubbish. Confiding yourself just gives access to these people in your life and make it more miserable, your silence proves the false to be true. Stop them before they rubble and leave the ashes behind.”

“Jungkook, all these words sound so robust, so full of power, but it goes in vain when the person against you has the power to rubble and control you. I would scream on top of the mountains and yet I'd be unheard and there that man taps his finger and gets the world against anybody he wants to annihilate and people would believe him, believe in his lies because it is produced through his power which these people lick and get this man high on the throne made of ego.

I don't have any energy left. Not a will to mock my humanity again. It feels like to compete with a devil limited in human form, human too bold for me to fight.

I don't care what becomes of mine, Jungkook. I don't care if I die in a cold bed, I don't care if my heart burns into the ashes in yearn for love. I am going through the most inhumane punishment ever created and that isn't being tormented by infernal Namjoon but living without love, living without the man on whom I swore death faces me before it goes to him, on whom my life, happiness, everything revolves around. I, I can wait for him in the next life for our love is so deep, so wise it is a promise made for innumerable lives including this miserable one. So I will sacrifice our relationship in this one and I will come back and meet him again in the next. There, I will be stronger than now, Selfish, even cunning to protect us, but right now I have done what I thought would be right, to obey, to be frail, twisted into sorrows and it all cannot be undone.

I can bear it all as long as he follows me and keeps the eyes away from Taehyung.”

Jungkook's eyes reflected the light that was missing in this dark room, the light was reflected by the brilliant love Seokjin had for his husband.

Taehyung must have been a devoted monk in his previous life to get such a blessings disguise in this beautiful human sitting before me.’ Jungkook thought.

Jungkook had all arguments ready to be put against the words of Seokjin but he couldn't bring them out, it felt as if he argued in an empty hall. “You really think, your sacrifice has bloomed the flowers back into Taehyung's life? You think he is living a normal man's life, laughing with his family over supper time, smiling to ears, focusing on work? Away from dangers? No! He has locked himself to death, punishes himself. I have seen blood on him that he infests on himself. He isn't living bright by what you call sacrifice! And you may like to hear it or not but you aren't in the eyes of Namjoon currently, you are hidden, which means he has Taehyung to follow and destroy, which I believe he slowly does it. ” Yet Jungkook wanted to argue, he wanted to yell into this empty halls. Seokjin started shivering, his pupils dilated, he never thought that Taehyung would be worse. He believed his husband had a strong mind and heart.
