(XIX) 'Just go away, Park Jimin.'

Yoongi's bed was in a slanting position and he was propped up with the pillow.

Jimin dragged a chair and sat next to Yoongi on his right. He reached Yoongi's right hand, which had an IV line with his right hand.

Yoongi aggressively brushed off Jimin's hand and looked away.

Jimin said, 'Kitten, I'm so-'

Yoongi interrupted, 'Don't you fucking call me that.'

Jimin said, 'Okay... Hyung, I'm so sorry... I-'

Yoongi interrupted, 'You said that I don't deserve you. Go date your friend. What's her name? Uh... Ji-Young, I guess.'

Jimin said, 'Hyung, I know that I fucked up... I'm sorry.'
Yoongi said, 'Leave.'
Jimin said, 'I shouldn't have trusted her. I know that it's my fault. I'm sorry.'

Yoongi said, 'Just go away, Park Jimin. I don't want someone who doesn't trust me in my life.'
Jimin said, 'I trust you... It's just that-'

Yoongi turned to his right and interrupted Jimin with a glare. He said, 'You don't trust me. I know that you don't. Just stop it and leave. Just like my past relationship, you don't trust me either.'

Jimin asked, 'Do you care enough to understand my situation?'

Yoongi glared at Jimin as he said, 'You didn't care enough to know the truth. Why are you here now?'

Jimin said, 'Listen, hyung. We all are humans. It's normal to commit mistakes. Why don't you even try to understand my situation?'

Yoongi said, 'What's your fucking situation?!' in an annoyed tone.

Jimin said, 'Just imagine this. Ji-Young came to meet you. She said that she was pregnant with my baby. Would you be okay with it?'
Yoongi said, 'How is that possible? You don't even like her'

Jimin said, 'She somehow made it believable. What will you do?'
Yoongi said, 'I trust the one I love. I'm not that stupid to believe anything anyone says.'

Jimin said, 'I admit it. I'm stupid. You know literally everything. I can't defend myself anymore and I don't want to either. I know that I'm the one at fault. Why can't you forgive me once?'
Yoongi said, 'Why should I forgive you?'

Jimin, with teary eyes, said in a singing tone even though his voice broke, 'C-cause you l-love me and I l-love you...'

Yoongi didn't say a word in response.

Jimin sniffled and said, 'Why did you cut yourself? You promised me that you'd take care of yourself.'

Yoongi said, 'You broke your promise, Park Jimin. I broke mine.'
Jimin said, 'Seriously, hyung?'

Yoongi stared at the dressed wound in his left hand and said in a low voice, 'Promises are made to be broken.'

Jimin said, 'Maybe Doctor Jung So-Min was right. You shouldn't depend on me this much.'

Yoongi looked at Jimin. It wasn't a glare but a stare with a sceptical look. He said, 'Yes, she's right. She asked you to stay away from me, didn't she? Do that as well then.'

Doctor Lee walked in all of a sudden and exclaimed, 'Yoongi-ssi!'

Yoongi said, 'There he is.'
He said, 'Have you talked it out?'
Yoongi said, 'Ask the bloke sitting beside me.'
Jimin said, 'Hyung, stop it, will you?'
He said, 'Uh... Alright. I'll come back later. Sort your things out by yourself, Yoongi-ssi.'

Without another word, he rushed out of the room and closed the door. He was confused and trying to help would do no better because he knew that he wasn't good at it.
