Moon moved to Korea in 2017 with her sister but spent every holiday in England with the rest of her family

The rest of her family stayed because Mi-Ra was only able to take one and Soyeon was abused the most in her family

She suffers from anxiety, PTSD, and depression

She hides her pain behind a cheerful facade

She has a very strong aversion to medication

When she was seventeen she was a major rebel despite being a part of Stray Kids

When Chan first asked her to join Stray Kids she refused but he convinced her to and she doesn't regret her decision at all

Her stage name, Moon, comes from her personality which is bright and gloomy at the same time. She's the opposite of Felix, who is called the sunshine of the group. It is also because her favorite time of night is midnight, when it's dark out but the moon is shining above. She sees it as inspiration and has always loved the moon, so when Minho asked what her stage name would be she didn't hesitate.

Unlike other idols, Soyeon is very open about her struggles. She has admitted openly to having depression and anxiety and when questioned, she didn't hesitate to confirm that she has self-harm tendencies. Her company was upset at first but it actually made her more popular and her group more popular since she wasn't afraid to share her personal struggles with fans. Since then JYP has encouraged others to be open. She has also admitted to being abused in the past and has told fans about that, but new fans are normally unaware of that fact

She came out to the public as pansexual after her first solo album "Stay Silent" was released and it was met with little hate and a lot of support and love.
