Rumors and Scandals

1. Only Female

Fans were convinced Choi Soyeon was sleeping with either Chan or JYP to get into Stray Kids. These rumors were only fueled after JYP showed favoritism towards her. However, they were shut down after JYPE released a statement proving those rumors false.

2. Pre-Debut Photo Leaked

Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but when Soyeon had just debuted, an old classmate of hers released a photo of them together. In the photo, Soyeon was at the beach in a bikini, her scars showing. There were scars on her thighs, back, and stomach. On her neck were bruises in the shape of fingerprints. She also sported a black eye and bruises covering the right side of her body. Despite the injuries, she was grinning and throwing a peace sign, a beach ball secured under one arm. Though she looked happy, fans were concerned about the injuries. It was after that Soyeon took to social media to share her past.

3. Dating Scandal

Photos of Keeho and Soyeon meeting up were posted to social media, and some included them hugging. Fans thought it was a date and netizens assumed Keeyeon was a thing, leading to a huge scandal and a lot of hate for both idols. The rumors were later proven false when Soyeon revealed they had met up for coffee after P1Harmony won their first award.

4. 17 Scandal

After Moon's mother was killed, the girl rebelled. She was trending not because her mother was murdered, but because she slept around a lot. She also drank a lot and smoked, and she was taken advantage of by some. Fans of the show who saw her drunk would invite her to the room, and she would agree without thinking, leading her to sleeping with some female fans too. She also got five tattoos and her lip, ears, and nose pierced.

5. Livestreams

Moon received a lot of hate during her live streams. She supposedly went to JYP and told him flat out she was going to cuss and say what she wanted. If he didn't approve she was leaving the group. This means she will cuss and speak her mind during her lives without hesitation. There are times she won't, but she normally does.

6. Filled With Hate

People thought her album "Stay Silent" wasn't fit for a young girl to be producing, but the last song, Filled With Hate, received the most hate. It was about all her bottled up resentment and had the most cuss words. The hate faded away a bit after she explained it more though

7. Slutty Bitch

The song caused a lot of controversy. Moon announced that it's her decision if she wants to sleep around, no one else's. She said it's her life, her body, her way of dealing with trauma. That wasn't the problem, as she was right. The controversial part was the outro, where she admitted to throwing herself at a man and sleeping with him since they were both drunk, meaning she knew him. The other part was where she announced it's her business if she likes dicks or titties, or both or anything in between, which made fans wonder if it was her way of coming out, especially since she said she is both the active one and the submissive one during sex.
