Cheryl and Tre spent quite a while at Tyrell's apartment, just hanging around with him, Trina, Kaison and baby Kayden, who had become quite the little entertainer with her adorable little facial expressions and different actions. She had even stayed settled so that Cheryl could feed her, her bottle, Cheryl just gazing down into her eyes the whole time whilst Kayden rested her hands over Cheryl's hand on her bottle. Once Kayden had gone down to sleep, Cheryl handed her back over to Trina before her and Tre left for the night, deciding to get back to his apartment before it got too late into the night. Once they got in, the two instantly changed into their pajamas - Cheryl wearing a pair of tiny hot pants and a vest top while Tre simply wore a pair of joggers as it was quite warm tonight.

"It was so nice seeing Tyrell and Trina and the kids; they're such a gorgeous family aren't they?" Cheryl chatted away as she watched from her spot on the living room sofa, seeing him pottering around the kitchen as he made them both some Cherry Limeades with crushed ice in them - of course the drinks being just made with a lemon-lime soda and not vodka.

"Yeah they're pretty wicked; it's so good to see Ty so happy like this again, especially since for a long time, he was convinced he'd never find happiness like this again." Tre replied, giving their drinks a final mix with the straws he had. He then wandered over, sitting with her and handing her the fruity drink.

"Bless; when you were telling me about his wife before, my heart was breaking for him. It's got to be sad to lose a loved one so suddenly, and with Kaison being so young as well - when we were talking about that, I swear as soon as you and the guys had gone for drinks, I just locked myself in my room and cried for an hour." Cheryl breathed out. She remembered a previous conversation she'd been having with Tre one night while they were all in Los Angeles during tour reheasal time for the A Million Lights tour, and the two of them just had been having a rather in depth conversation about a variety of things before somehow winding up talking about Tyrell and how amazing he was at raising his little boy on his own, before Cheryl then had asked exactly what was the circumstances behind that. When Tre had told her, it had broken her heart straight away as she just couldn't imagine how awful that must have been.n

"Yeah, it was a pretty bad time - he was a shell of himself for a long time. I'm glad he's doing better now though; Trina's a great girl and now he's got baby Kay too - Tiffany really would have wanted that for him." Tre said, shaking his head. Cheryl nodded, taking a sip of her drink before cuddling into his side. She smiled straight away as he wrapped his arm around her to cuddle her in more, tenderly kissing her forehead as he did so.

"So, are you gonna come back with me when I go back? I don't have to go back really for another couple of weeks - just really in time for X-Factor." she explained, playing with his hand that was over her shoulder.

"Erm, I'll probably go back with you! I don't have anything to do really until like the first week of September." he explained, smiling down at her. She smiled up at him before kissing his cheek, feeling quite happy that they'd get to spend some proper time together. She just wanted to spend every possible second with him, especially since it was clear that they were happier and more in love than ever before.

"You can come with me to X-Factor and everything; this time round, you can meet Simon." she giggled up at him. He just chuckled, nodding his head.

"Yeah, that'll be cool; hey, and I bet your dad will be glad to hear about us again won't he?" he replied before going on to ask. Cheryl nodded, rolling her eyes and giggling.

"He damn sure will be, because he gave me a bloody ear full when I told him we'd broken up before - it was ridiculous, honestly." she shook her head in despair. Tre was laughing his head off, rubbing his hand over his face.

"Aw man, Gary's top man! Maybe this time I can go to a Newcastle United match with him then!" he said before smirking, leading Cheryl to roll her eyes and shake her head straight away.

"Oh hell no; don't even. My dad will have you completely stocked up on Newcastle gear if you do. Him and Garry are absolutely ridiculous. I mean don't get me wrong, I watch the footie and am a Newcastle supporter myself but I'm nowhere near as crazy about it as them two - they're mental." she said, pouting her lips. She pouted even more whilst Tre was laughing his head off, having clutched his stomach because he was laughing so hard.

"Oh man, then I definitely need to go to a Newcastle game with your dad. The atmosphere seems cool, almost like baseball and football games here.." he then turned to her, "Speaking of which, would you like to go to another NFL game with me one day?"

"I literally had no idea what was going on the last time, Tre, but sure I'll go. I'll be your entertainment so you can laugh every time I ask a question." she smirked, looking up at him. He just laughed a bit before kissing the tip of her nose, making her smile grow even wider as she just loved how affectionate he always was with her.

"Hey hey, I thought that was funny the way you kept asking stuff - you were just adorable.." he chuckled before continuing, "I can tell you this now because we're back together but I couldn't then because it wasn't long after our breakup and we were friends so I didn't wanna make it awkward, but I so just wanted to kiss you so much that day it was crazy. Like that's how I knew then that there wasn't much of a chance that I'd ever rid my system of you. You were just so cute that day and it was so nice of you to do all of that for Tanisha's birthday, and I just found you completely adorable and beautiful, I just wanted to kiss you or something."

"So you wanted to kiss too?! I think I stared at your lips more than your actual eyes when I was talking to you that day. And the night before when we went to dinner together, remember that? Now that was difficult, because I was going home and you were going out to the club with Janine and her brother, and I gave you a hug because I was going home and stuff - even though I knew I'd see you the next day but I still had to give you a hug, but anyway, you have no idea how hard it was pulling away and not kissing you. Safe to say, I started regretting our break up pretty soon after it was done, but I kept trying to tell myself it was the right thing to do." she explained.

"I kept trying to tell myself that it was the right thing too, but I can see now that it wasn't. I don't know what I was thinking to be honest." he shook his head, frowning slightly as he did so. Cheryl pouted as well.

"It wasn't just you, it was a mutual decision remember? Seriously though what were we thinking? Even the people I met over New Years had nothing on you; I just wanted to be spending the New Year with you. But see by then, we hadn't spoken in like two and a half months I think and I didn't know if you wanted to talk to me, so I just didn't text you." she said as she shuffled around on the sofa, shuffling onto his lap. Tre wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her cheek a couple times.

"You thought I didn't want to talk to you? Baby, you couldn't have been more wrong - I thought it was the other way around, I thought you didn't want to talk to me anymore. I missed you so much and wanted to be with you for New Years, but I didn't want to randomly text you to ask where you were and just show up; I thought you'd moved on and I didn't want to fuck something up." he explained, cuddling into her more, whilst she giggled away on his lap.

"Were you secretly relieved to see that I didn't have anyone then?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Damn right; biggest wave of relief ever.." he smirked before continuing, "Nah, as much as it would have hurt, I would have been happy for you if you had moved on."

"Well I'm stupidly in love with you, always have been, so I'd have been a right miserable cow if you had moved on - I'd have probably tried to kill the bitch." Cheryl replied, actually half joking and half serious. Tre burst out laughing, finding her absolutely hilarious.

"You know what, I fucking love you, Chez; I'm glad to be with you again." he told her before kissing her cheek. She turned her head and pecked his lips, stroking her finger down his nose.

"I love you too, Tre; and I'm beyond glad to be with you again. Forever yeah?" she smirked before holding her hand up. Tre nodded, the two of them doing their little hand shake ritual that they still remembered back from the A Million Lights tour.

"Forever and ever, Chez." he winked before kissing her again as she wrapped her arms around his neck, the two of them more in love than ever before...
