*Few Days Later*
A few days had passed; Cheryl was now feeling much better – head cold reducing now to just a slight sniffle, and her strep throat having cleared up now as well. Tre had been looking after her a lot over the last few days, and now they had reached Friday. Cheryl had gotten the all clear from the doctor a few days ago on Wednesday, the doctor having told her that she was all sorted out and clear to fly as she was pretty much better now.
"Hey baby, should I pack my hoodies or?" Tre asked as he wandered out of his bedroom, holding a couple of hoodies in his hands. Seeing as he and Cheryl were leaving early in the morning to fly to England and he had a night workshop in a few hours, he was packing already just so they wouldn't be so rushed in the morning.
"Erm, let's see it's the first of August right now – yeah you should totally be fine, baby; it's still warm in England." Cheryl replied as she looked up from writing in her lyric book.
"Ooh; good call – alright." He chuckled before going back to finish packing. Cheryl giggled slightly and shook her head in despair at him, before scribbling some more lyrics down, having just sat there and come up with another song yet again. She quietly sang to herself as she jotted the lyrics down...
'Suddenly I'm with you
It's like coming up for air
Coming up for air
From the deep blue
Everything we know leave it far below
You let me know that I'm the only one
When you let go
I'll hold my breath till I'm with you
It's like coming up for air
Coming up for air'
Cheryl didn't realize as she scribbled away in her notebook, but Tre had heard her quietly singing, loving how she automatically came up with her own beat for whatever this song was and was just lost in her own world. He knew how hard it was for Cheryl to share the songs she'd written herself, as they had discussed it before that Cheryl found song writing to be more so for herself than for her fans, but he loved that she was determined to share more of her song writing with the fans with this new album, as they'd really gotten her through a lot.
Tre also loved how Cheryl still couldn't see exactly how talented she was, always finding it a bit amusing when Cheryl would blush when he'd say her voice was beautiful or that she was an incredibly talented dancer. That was probably something that had drawn him to Cheryl straight away – the fact that she wasn't constantly being smug about how good she could possibly be, how good she was already, or the fact that she wasn't just up her own ass like most celebrities seemed to be. She was just a humble person, very chilled and down to earth, or as most people said – 'she was an ordinary girl living an extraordinary life.'
Tre quietly finished packing his things, before putting his bags aside out of the way then going back out to the living room. Cheryl looked up, smiling proudly as she stood up and rushed over to him, clutching the yellow spiral notebook to her chest.
"Tre, can I sing this song for you please? I was just writing one but I need to get another opinion on that so you can't hear it yet as I kind of see it as a tribute to you in a way, but can I sing you another song please? I wrote it yesterday while you was at the gym." She excitedly asked. Tre chuckled softly, nodding his head as he kissed her forehead.
"Sure baby, go for it." He replied. She giggled cutely, blushing slightly before going over to his keyboard that was in the corner near the shelf that held his pictures. She sat down on the little stool and placed her lyric book on the little stand, before breathing out. Tre sat on the sofa and watched, a sweet smile on his face as he watched his talented girlfriend do what she did best – make music.
He watched as Cheryl's fingers softly danced across the keyboard, causing the most beautiful melody flow from the instrument. His heart melted even more, when he heard the beautiful singing voice of his girlfriend as she began singing the lyrics from her book...
