An hour or so later, Cheryl and Tre were both pretty much ready to go - Cheryl dressed in a pair of deep blue skinny jeans and plain black vest top, teaming her look with a pair of black ankle boots as well. Tre was dressed in a pair of slightly baggy dark blue jeans and a white t-shirt, as well as his black and white Jordans. Cheryl was taking one of her cases with her that she'd brought over anyway as she had a good assortment of clothes in there, and Tre had quickly packed his case as well seeing as they were only going for a couple of days. Once they were all set to go and once they had turned of all the electrics and what not, the two finally left out and headed for the airport, Cheryl's driver that she often used when she was in LA sweetly giving them a ride - and using it as an opportunity to catch up with Cheryl as well as he hadn't seen her in a while.
Once they reached the airport, the couple bid the driver farewell before heading off inside. They got all checked in and went through the security point, before making their way to the lounge to wait for their flight. Tre chuckled once they sat down, as Cheryl had completely ignored the empty seat beside him and sat herself down on his lap, looping her arm around his neck.
"Excited to go to New Jersey then gorgeous? It's been like a year since you've seen everyone hasn't it?" he asked, stroking her side. Cheryl nodded, smiling away happily.
"I am excited to see them.." she swallowed slightly, "You don't think anyone will be pissed off at me will they? I mean, I know I didn't necessarily break up with you like dump you but-"
"No one will be pissed off at you, gorgeous; everyone is excited to see you - plus they know that our break up was mutual; no hearts were necessarily broken were they? Relax - plus if anyone had something to say, Tori will probably put them in their place before anything else." he interrupted her. Cheryl nodded, breathing out before giving him a cuddle.
"I love you." she randomly mumbled against his shoulder. He chuckled, rubbing his hand up and down her back before kissing her cheek.
"I love you even more." he replied.
The two sat like that for a little while longer, just relaxing together and quietly laughing together and chatting, being a bit courteous and refraining from kissing to much as there were was a couple families around with children around. Soon enough, their flight was finally called to board, leading the two of them to excitedly make their way to the gate. Once they boarded their flight and got in their seats, Tre instantly took Cheryl's hand in his, making her smile.
"New Jersey here we come.." he smiled, making her giggle as she kissed his cheek, feeling so excited to see his family again after so long...

It was roughly six hours later when the plane finally touched down at the Trenton-Mercer airport in Trenton, New Jersey, which was only about half an hour from Tre's hometown. The couple exited the plane and got their bags, before heading out and catching a taxi. Cheryl got in while Tre loaded their things into the boot, before he too joined her in the backseat. He gave the driver the address to his mother's house, before wrapping his arm around Cheryl. Due to it being summer, despite it being after seven at night, the sun was still shining bright in the sky.
"Can we please go back to Central Park again? That was fun." Cheryl randomly asked as she looked out the window, looking back at Tre. He nodded, kissing her forehead as he did so; it seeming as though he really couldn't get enough of her. Just going back to see his family and knowing that he had her by his side again; everything felt like a dream - but this was a reality obviously, a very happy reality.
"Yeah we can do whatever you want really, so if Central Park is what you want, then we can." he smiled at her. Cheryl nodded, cuddling into him and kissing his cheek.
