After staying up and talking for a bit, Cheryl and Tre finally went back up to bed around 4:30 in the morning. However, they felt like they had only just gone to sleep when around 7:30, the alarm started blaring loudly throughout the room. Cheryl rolled over and shut it off, before sighing as she rolled back over into Tre's arms. Tre wrapped his arms tighter around her, kissing the top of her head.
"Day two of studio eh?" he asked. Cheryl nodded, lightly kissing the side of his neck.
"The only reasons I'm really excited is because Nic will be there, plus I get to record the song I wrote for you." She mumbled into his neck. Tre chuckled softly, kissing the side of her head. He had to admit, he was excited to hear the song she'd done for him, but he knew he'd just have to wait as she obviously couldn't give him much of a sneak peek yet.
"Well I can't wait to hear this song, and I hope you do have a good day – I'll come later; your mom is gonna drop me off there." He assured her. She nodded, before leaning up and kissing his lips, smiling at him. He smiled back, tucking some of her hair behind her ear.
"I love you sweetheart." He mumbled. She giggled cutely before pecking his lips, feeling so grateful to have him there with her.
"I love you too." She mumbled. She then gave him one more kiss before sitting up, knowing she needed to get up as the time was just ticking away and the car would be there at 9:00. Tre sat up as well, giving her another kiss on the side of her head.
"I'll go down and get some breakfast going while you shower." He told her. She nodded, thanking him before bouncing off to the en suite bathroom. Tre chuckled to himself before getting out of bed. He then got up and quickly pulled on a black vest like top, before going off downstairs. As he approached the last step, he smirked to himself at the sound of someone pottering around in the kitchen and singing to themselves. He poked his head in, seeing Joan actually making them all some porridge, and who was none the wiser to him standing there.
"Go on then Joan!" he burst out, making the older woman look over and start laughing.
"Yeah I can bust a move every now and then, son," she winked before continuing, "Morning though; how are you this morning? You look a bit tired though; did Cheryl have another nightmare?" Tre had told Joan about Cheryl's nightmares the day before when she'd arrived, and Joan had immediately gotten concerned about it as well.
"Yeah, she had another one and we got up and sat up for a little while – only went back to sleep around four-thirty or so." He replied as he made his way over to the coffee machine. Joan shook her head, feeling so bad for her daughter.
"Bless her heart; I wonder what's set all this off? She hardly has nightmares; this is strange." She said as she returned to the stove. Tre shrugged as he shook his head as well, feeling so incredibly bad for his girlfriend.
"I remember studying Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in school and that's what it's sounding like, but I'm not totally sure – and obviously I know in some cases, the symptoms don't start until years after the traumatic event, so it's just a bit iffy to tell you know." He explained. He then made himself a cup of coffee before sitting at the island counter top, yawning yet again.
Tre and Joan then carried on chatting away together as they normally did, just chatting about general things really as Tre really did enjoy talking to Joan as she was really kind and funny just like Cheryl was, and Joan obviously thought that Tre was a breath of fresh air. Tre did eventually get back up to make some coffees for Cheryl and Garry once they came down, and also made some toast for them all while Joan set the table. By the time Cheryl and Garry actually reached the kitchen, Joan and Tre had set everything out on the table for their breakfast together.
