*Few Days Later*

A few days had passed and it was now Wednesday; Cheryl having now finally reached a day off so she could rest as she was finished in the studio for the most part, and the arena auditions were over for The X-Factor. While she was genuinely glad to have a day off and a few more days off to come as there was a bit of a wait until she had to go film for Judge's Houses, she spent a majority of the days catching up on sleep – or trying to. However, her nightmares felt like they were becoming more and more real to the point where there were times she'd wake up and look at herself and around her room, just to make sure she wasn't actually that teenage girl again in a rundown flat with her drug addict boyfriend. She wasn't telling anyone, but her nightmares were starting to make her not only feel down, but slightly paranoid as well – and she was sure that Tre was noticing as she would flinch slightly if he went to touch her.

Tre was also trying to help Cheryl as best he could. The nightmares had only been happening for roughly a week so far so there wasn't much he could do, but Tre was convinced now that Cheryl was suffering from a late onset of PTSD. She had all the signs so far, and he just wanted to help her somehow. However, he noticed how she would flinch a bit if he touched her, or how she seemed to be distancing herself and sleeping a lot. Her actions were starting to get him a bit down as well as he didn't feel like he was really helping her and felt like he was pushing her away, but he knew he had to stick around because after all, he was crazy about her and refused to let anything tear them apart.

"Tre, is Cheryl up? I finished our dinner." Garry asked as he came through from the kitchen. He had just made them all some diner as he was hungry and didn't want to leave Cheryl and Tre out. He too was noticing how different his sister was starting to become, and it was safe to say that he was extremely worried.

"Nah; I think she's asleep bro." Tre replied, breathing out. He then stood up, giving Garry a slight smile.

"I'll see if she wants something to eat though." He continued. He then made his way out of the room and straight up the stairs, going into the bedroom. The curtains were closed again, blocking the rays of remaining sunlight from entering the slightly dark bedroom. Tre could make out Cheryl's sleeping frame in the bed under the covers, and her deep breathing told him that she was in a deep sleep. He hated to wake her, but she did have to get something to eat as she'd been asleep since around lunchtime.

"Cheryl, baby wake up." He whispered, stroking her arm gently once he'd made his way over. He leaned his head down and kissed her cheek, making her groan quietly as she had been in quite a deep sleep.

"Go away." She whined, pulling the blanket up more. Tre thought she was messing around, and so chuckled as he continued stroking her arm.

"Baby come on; Garry's made us all some dinner – come get something to eat." He replied. However, judging by the frown on Cheryl's face and the sigh, she wasn't in the mood at all for food.

"I'll eat later; I'm tired." She breathed out. Tre's eyes went wide; since when did Cheryl of all people turn down food?

"Baby, come on you need to get something to eat – you've hardly eaten-" he was saying before he was then cut off by a now annoyed Cheryl.

"I'm fucking tired; I said I would eat later!" she snapped, her eyes still closed. Tre was taken aback by her response, and for the first time, actually didn't know what to say or do. He was hurt by her response as there wasn't much of a need for her to snap, but he didn't want to argue back with her as that would only make everything a million times worse.
