Cheryl frowned slightly to herself as she set her eyes on the only other woman who had played a role in Tre's life on an intimate level...
What was she doing here to see her boyfriend?
Cheryl wasn't exactly fond of Milana after hearing about the horrible thing she'd done; Tre having told her a while back that Milana had left him to be with a person that was once his best friend. She had only met Milana once backstage at a Rihanna gig a couple years earlier, as Milana had been dancing for Rihanna, whom Cheryl was good friends with. However, she had not really struck up a conversation with her because she didn't want to; she didn't like the thought of anyone hurting Tre in the most horrible of ways.
Breathing out to calm herself down, Cheryl calmly made her way towards the door and went outside. The younger girl looked up, her electric blue eyes going wide in shock as she came face to face with Cheryl...
And she knew who Cheryl's was – Tre's ex-girlfriend...well, obviously not still an ex...
"Uh, hi Cheryl." She timidly greeted. Cheryl gave her a look, folding her arms across her chest.
"Hi; can I help you?" she asked, not even trying to make it sound less blunt.
"I was just here to see Tre, I uh – is he here?" she asked; her voice wobbled slightly.
"He's doing a workshop," Cheryl raised an eyebrow before continuing, "What do you want to see him for?"
It then dawned on Milana that something was going on between Cheryl and Tre again, hence why Cheryl was here, knew where Tre was, and was now looking at her with a look of slight warning in her eyes. She had very much been aware of Cheryl and Tre's break up, but she'd had no idea that they'd reconciled.
Now she knew it was a mistake to get in contact with Tre...
"I – um – nothing, I just wanted to drop in and see him." Milana finally stammered, stepping backwards slighty. Cheryl gave her a skeptical look. She knew how other women thought; there was another reason behind this visit...
"Bullshit; what's the real reason?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Milana shook her head, swallowing nervously.
"I didn't know he was seeing you again; I just hadn't spoken to him in a long, long while and I've just returned from a tour and just some things in my life – I figured I needed to talk to him as I do think I owe him an explanation for just leaving him." She replied.
"You mean leaving him to be with his best friend, no?" she asked. Milana sighed, looking down.
"I deserved that," she sighed before continuing, "Listen, please understand Cheryl, I'm not here to cause any trouble. I'm sorry for just showing up like this; I didn't know he was seeing you again – I mean not saying I'm here for any sort of romantic thing with him – I mean, but I just thought, it finally is a time where I need to give him an explanation. It was a mistake though, probably a sign I shouldn't have come by – I don't know." She quietly explained.
Cheryl's expression softened slightly. She did kind of feel bad for being slightly harsh with Milana; she knew Tre wouldn't let her do anything to mess them up anyway. Besides, standing here now, Milana didn't seem like she had bad intentions either. She genuinely looked lost and sad, a same feeling that Cheryl had experienced just before she'd gone to visit Ashley just before the X-Factor USA fiasco.
"Erm, I'll text him – but come in." she finally offered, swallowing. Milana looked up at her in shock.
"Are you sure? I-" she was saying but Cheryl stopped her.
"Come on." She said. Milana nodded, thanking her before following her inside. The two women went up the stairs; Cheryl letting Milana step into the apartment first before stepping in as well. She shut and locked the door, breathing out to herself as she grabbed her phone from the counter where she'd left it. She glanced over at Milana; the younger girl nervously drumming her fingers along her knees as she stared at the floor. Cheryl sighed, before looking at her phone as she went ahead and text Tre.
