Two Years Later

June 2016

"Cheryl, hurry up – we're gonna be late!"

Cheryl rolled her eyes and giggled to herself as she carried on getting ready for her date night out with, who else, Tre. Typical Friday night for the couple in Los Angeles – taking a night out to just relax together in between everything else that they were out in Los Angeles to do. Cheryl wore a shimmery grey body con sleeveless dress that came down a couple inches past her thigh tattoo and silver shimmery pumps, her newly dyed dark brown hair tied in a high, stylish ponytail. Her dark colored makeup brought out her eyes, the pale pink lip gloss shimmered in the lights. As usual, she looked a million dollars.

Since rekindling their romance a couple of years earlier, Cheryl and Tre's relationship had gone from strength to strength. Following the whole Jason situation that had occurred just a couple months after they'd gotten back together, the two managed to help each other through it and managed to box it away, forgetting all about it after they'd talked it out and been there for each other. The crazy ex-boyfriend of Cheryl's was now once again incarcerated – this time for life without any chance of parole, which Cheryl and Tre and everyone really was glad about as he was no longer part of their lives nor would he ever be again.

Now, the couple's relationship was taking an ever bigger step. Just a month or so ago, Tre had gotten a huge opportunity to finally open his dance school in London, something that he was completely excited about. He and Cheryl had talked about it – Cheryl of course making sure that Tre was completely okay with wanting to leave Los Angeles, but Tre was adamant about it, as he wanted nothing more than to go to London for his career, and of course be with Cheryl. Of course, he still had a month or so before the school would be open, and so was moving his things out of his Los Angeles apartment and having them shipped over to England to Cheryl's house that he was happily moving into.

Besides being busy helping Tre pack up his things, Cheryl was also in Los Angeles for another, major reason – her music. Following the end of the 2015 season of X-Factor back in December, Cheryl had spoken to Simon straight away and told him that she was finished this time. She'd had a great couple of years in a row being back on there, but she was finished now as she wanted to get back to what she missed the most – her music. She had written so many songs, and was back in Los Angeles working with new producers, as well as a few she'd worked with on the A Million Lights album. Best of all, she was working with her good friend Will.i.am. again, which was quite nice and felt natural as their music together was always magical. Music was Cheryl's first love, and she was more than happy about being back with it without feeling the pressure of other endeavors. Of course, while she was excited about her fans hearing it, she was taking her time. There was no rush – she was writing, producing, recording, and spending time with Tre, obviously. She was just living life and enjoying herself.

"Cheryl!"

"I'm coming, man!" she giggled, shouting back. She slipped on her leather jacket then grabbed her bag, before wandering out to the living room of Tre's apartment. He was smirking, waiting for her as he leaned against the island counter top in the kitchen area. He jokingly tapped his foot and looked at his watch, making Cheryl roll her eyes as she giggled away.

"Fuck off; I take pride in my appearance unlike some people." She pouted, making Tre playfully gasp as he grabbed his wallet.

"How very dare you? I'm gorgeous, babe; so I take lots of pride in my appearance. Not my fault you need more time to look as beautiful as me." He joked as he stood aside for her to walk out first. He then laughed as he dodged her slap, before closing his door behind him and walking down the stairs with her.
