It had been the longest seven-hour flight ever to England once Tre did leave New Jersey around eleven-thirty in the morning. Throughout the whole flight, Tre had simply gazed solemnly out the window at the clouds as the plane made its way over the Atlantic, as despite it actually being a quite beautiful day, his mood was a far contrast to the sunshine that was outside. He was quite sad about the fact that they'd basically lost their baby, and right now his priority was to get to Cheryl and comfort her because they truly did need each other at this horrible time.

When Tre finally did land in England, it was dark out as it was eleven at night. He quickly got off the plane and collected his bags from the baggage claim area before stepping outside into the cool night air to try and catch a taxi. However, as he was looking around, he spotted Cheryl's Range Rover in the distance as he saw her personalized license plate, leading him to quickly head over to where the vehicle was parked. He had to smile a tiny bit; Garry got out to greet him.

"Hey mate." He gave him a sympathetic smile. Tre him a small yet sad smile and a manly hug, at least feeling good that someone familiar had greeted him at the airport and that he hadn't had to catch a taxi after all.

"How is she?" Tre asked straight away as he got in, tossing his bags into the backseat of the car. Garry breathed out as he started the engine to the car.

"Mate, honestly I've seen Cheryl break down about some things but if you could have seen the way she was crying earlier, it would have broken your heart into a load of pieces. I saw her break down and cry about the Ashley stuff and that was bad; this was a million times worse," Garry explained which caused a knot to form in Tre's stomach, "She was settled down when I left; cried herself to sleep. Mam is there with her until you get there and Lils and Mel left about an hour and a half ago when she did go to sleep. It's just heartbreaking; I'm sorry for the both of you, mate."

"I just don't get why her; this is something she's always wanted to why her?" Tre sighed out, rubbing his head as he watched the streetlights pass by. Garry shook his head in despair, he too wondering the same thing.

"I don't even know, mate; I just don't know." He breathed out.

The two men continued the ride to the hospital in silence; Tre not really knowing what else to say and Garry not knowing either. Once they reached the quiet hospital park, Garry parked the car before the two of them finally went off inside. They went up to the floor where Cheryl's room was, Tre feeling a bit sick as it hurt him to know how heartbroken she truly was. Soon enough, they reached the room and went inside; Tre feeling at least slightly relieved that she seemed to be asleep now as she did look peaceful, even though he could see the tear stairs on her cheeks and could see that her eyes were red and puffy.

"Joan, hey." He whispered. Joan looked up, smiling sadly as she came over and gave him a hug.

"Hi sweetheart," she kissed his cheek before looking up at him, "You alright, son? You can talk to me too you know, at any time."

"I'm okay Joan; I'll be okay – and thank you." Tre told her. Joan nodded, squeezing his shoulder before going back over to Cheryl.

"Sweetheart, Tre is here so I'm gonna go home with Garry – I love you and I'll see you in the morning." She whispered to her sleeping daughter, who was pretty much none the wiser as she was resting comfortably. Joan then kissed her forehead before leaving out with Garry, while Tre sat down on the chair that Joan had been sitting on. He gently took Cheryl's hand in his, noticing that she had her head turned away from the direction of the IV pole, leading Tre to look up. He swallowed when he saw a bag of blood hanging there for a transfusion, along with a clear liquid that was just some nutrients to help Cheryl's energy levels.
