"You would think that just having a little surgery to stop some bleeding on your uterus or whatever happens with an ectopic pregnancy wouldn't cause this much pain but I suppose all surgery gives you this much pain doesn't it?"

Tre just chuckled softly to himself as he helped Cheryl into the house a few hours later; the couple having just returned home from the hospital. Garry had come to the hospital and collected them; though he had to get them from the back entrance as there were some paparazzi out the front. Now, they were at home, and Joan had sweetly cleaned the house up and made Cheryl some soup to eat as she knew that she was most likely starving.

"God, I need to sit on the cushions; this is terrible." Cheryl screwed her face up as they stepped into the house. Tre simply chuckled before scooping her up into her arms, making her smile.

"I'll just carry you around, no big deal." He smirked. He then kissed her cheek before carrying her through to the living room, sitting her down on the sofa so that her feet were resting up on the cushions as well. Joan came through to the living room, smiling straight away.

"Well you look better but I bet you're in a bit of pain, yeah?" she smiled sadly as she squeezed Tre's muscular arm, then leaned down and kissed Cheryl's cheek.

"Yeah it hurts; so I'm actually really glad me and Tre are on like a month long sex-ban." She replied. Joan chuckled softly, shaking her head in despair.

"You two will survive," she rolled her eyes before continuing, "I'm just making some soup; it'll be ready soon. I bet you two are hungry eh?"

"Yes we are!" the couple burst out, making Joan and Garry burst out laughing. They then went off to the kitchen while Tre joined Cheryl on the sofa, allowing her to lay her legs over his.

"You okay?" he asked, taking her hand in his. Cheryl sighed; she knew why he was asking. Sure, physically she was fine, but that didn't stop her mind from drifting to the thoughts about what exactly had happened, or about what could have been.

"I mean, I've been better I suppose," she shrugged before looking up, "Are you?"

"I've been better too." He smiled sadly. Cheryl squeezed his hand, biting her lip softly as her eyes glossed over with tears. Tre reached over and wiped them with his thumb before leaning over and kissing her head.

"We'll get through this – together." He assured her. She nodded her head, squeezing his hand.

"I love you – and I'm so glad I have you." She quietly spoke.

"I love you too – and I'm glad I've got you too." He replied. He then lifted her hand to his lips, softly kissing her skin before leaning over and kissing her forehead as well.

The two simply sat in silence, holding each other's hands as they absentmindedly watched the TV together. Both of them had a million and one thoughts racing through their heads, but neither of them knew exactly how to talk about what happened or anything like that. They knew they would get to the point eventually where they would feel okay to talk about it, but right now, it was just a little too raw to even touch on.

"Here's some soup, you two." Joan interrupted their thoughts, coming through with a tray in her hands, both of them having two steaming bowls of chicken noodle soup on them.

"Here kids; you two just relax and eat." She told them, giving them the bowls. Cheryl and Tre both thanked her before tucking into their soup, both of them feeling quite hungry as they hadn't really had anything to eat – not Cheryl since she'd had a bagel the morning before, and not Tre dinner the night before everything had gone crazy.
