'Why have I just done that?!'

He had been thinking about her a lot more than normal lately, though he had never really gotten over her anyway. No matter how many times his friends told him that it was probably for the best, he just couldn't shake her. It was as if she still had some hold on him or something.

He'd caught a glimpse of her at the Summertime Ball just a couple weeks earlier - he had been there dancing with Little Mix, and he had watched her performance from backstage. She had performed the song that sparked their relationship back a couple years prior - Call My Name. Hearing this familiar track, watching her perform such a familiar routine, instantly led to him smiling to himself as memory after memory took over his mind, almost wishing he could've just rushed out there and performed with her, and hold her hand as they walked backstage, and kiss her once they were out of view of the crowd. But he couldn't do this anymore, but he still wanted to say hello.

He had even gone as far to wait for her backstage to say hi to her, but he didn't even get a chance to say anything to her due to her team practically jumping on her instantly, showering her with congratulations, telling her how amazing her performance had been. He saw the flash of ombré locks, but just as she was about to turn in his direction that would've been a clear way for her to see him, he had been whisked off by the dancers to go hang out. He mentally cursed them all; he had desperately wanted to speak to her.

Since then, she had consumed his entire mind. Only this morning, he had used two of her songs in his workshops. Now, unable to take it any longer, after nearly eight months of barely any contact, he had text her..

...And now he was wondering if that had been a good idea...

However, when his phone buzzed to life, his question was answered, and his heart skipped a beat. This had been a good idea after all..

<<Hey! Yeah its me haha :') I still have your number! and just to show I'm not winding you up! x>>

What came next, was literally the most adorable picture Tre had ever seen. There she was, her 'selfie', now displaying in his messages.

There was Cheryl - an adorable pout on her lips, her big brown eyes sparkling, her face free of any make up, her hair scrapped back into a messy ponytail. Tre could just make out that she was wearing a grey vest top with 'PINK' across the front, a vest top that he'd once brought her from a Victoria's Secret one time when she'd dragged him in there. Tre sighed out happily, having missed her quite a bit, and now longed to at least see her actually in person. However, texting her was enough - he was just glad she was talking to him.

<<Whew! It's not a joke then haha how are you then? Doing well, etc.? x>>

<<Yeah I'm doing quite well! Just a busy bee atm what with the album coming soon! How are you? Doing okay? x>>

<<I'm doing alright too! Still dancing away :') I seen you the other day, at STB x>>

<<Did you? I didn't see you :/ x>>

<<I did! I watched your set but when I was gonna come say hi, your team like attacked you and your dancers, etc so I was like: ah nevermind haha x>>

<<I'm sorry :/ ah I do wish I'd seen you, I would've fought my way through to say hi or something. Did you enjoy it? What were you doing there anyway? x>>

<<Dancing with Little Mix! Did you see their performance? I really enjoyed your set! Especially CMN :P The new song sounds brilliant as well! x>>
