Tre thoroughly enjoyed spending the remainder of the day at the studio with Cheryl and her crew, having enjoyed watching her record her last two songs for her album. They'd all taken a break for dinner around six and walked up to a diner that was up the street from the studio. After having their dinner and chatting on and joking around, they returned to the studio, where Cheryl and Nicola listened to some mixes while Tre, Garry, Lily, and Lee all chatted away together. Cheryl had even listened to the final mix of the song that Nicola had written for the album, smiling away as it had come out absolutely perfectly – and plus she loved that Nicola had provided the background vocals for the song as well. Now, it was seeming that the Only Human album was finished for the most part, apart from a few more editing sessions on the songs they'd recorded the day before and today as well. For the most part, however, the recording aspect seemed to be completely finished – which Cheryl was quite glad about. She didn't quite like the fact that she still had to come in for editing sessions, but it was all part of the process so it wasn't too bad really.
Seeing as Cheryl didn't need to be in the studio for too late, it was around eight that she hugged her producers and Nicola goodbye before jumping back into the car with Garry, Lily, and Lee so that Lee could take them back off home. Lee dropped Garry, Cheryl, and Tre off at hers first – the three of them waving both him and Lily off before they headed on inside. Joan was still awake and was currently chilling out in the living room, watching the soaps. When she heard them all chatting away, she looked up and smiled.
"How was the studio then?" she asked them all.
"It was pretty cool; the album is pretty much finished." Cheryl replied with an excited look on her face. She bounced over and plonked herself down beside her mother, giggling as her dogs climbed up onto the sofa straight away and began climbing all over her.
"They really missed you clearly, Chez." Tre chuckled as he sat over on the arm chair.
"Yeah; how can they not? I'm their lifeline pretty much." She smirked. She then giggled as Buster accidentally head butted her in the nose, while Coco had just curled up on the back of the sofa near her shoulder and was licking her cheek every now and then.
"Oh my God!" Cheryl burst out after they'd all been sat in silence for a bit as they'd all been sucked into the soap opera that was on TV. Everyone jumped and Coco and Buster let out a bark, before looking up at her curiously.
"What the hell, nutter? What did you forget now, man?!" Garry burst out, rubbing his chest while Joan was shaking her head in despair at her daughter. Cheryl was giggling to herself as she pulled out her phone.
"No, Nicola had something to tell me but I forgot to talk to her about it earlier." Cheryl giggled before texting her best friend.
<<8:50pm – Oi!! What did you have to tell me?! We got so busy today that I forgot to ask. What's going on then? Xx>>
Within seconds, Nicola responded to her text.
<<Nicola: 8:51pm – Aw shit I forgot to tell you! Omg so, aw omg I really wanna see your face but aw fuck it I'll tell you. Joel asked me out, like OUT properly on a date, and I said YESSSS! (: We're going out on Saturday night! Xx>>
"Yes!" Cheryl burst out before screaming to herself, once again giving them all a fright. Joan whacked her on the arm while Coco and Buster just jumped down and went over to Tre as they thought Cheryl had just lost her mind. Meanwhile, Garry and Tre were looking at Cheryl with raised eyebrows, though Cheryl was none the wiser as she just danced around in her seat.
"Tre, you really want to be with that?" Garry bluntly asked, making Tre burst out laughing as he nodded his head. Cheryl had finally calmed down some and was now looking around at them all.
