Cheryl finally made it back home around twenty minutes later, though she had been fighting back tears throughout the entire ride. She didn't really understand what was happening to her, it was as if all of these things were coming out of nowhere. She hadn't thought about Jason for a long, long time, and now she was just trying to figure out what exactly triggered this. This was different from the demons she'd battled a year earlier, different from anything really – this was a real problem. The nightmares, that intense flashback just then – this was very intense and very scary.

Cheryl remained sat in the car for another five minutes before finally feeling strong enough to get out of the car. She grabbed her bag and locked the car doors, then pressed the button on her keys so that the garage doors would shut and her gates would shut and lock. She then made her way through the garage and up to the utility room, letting herself in that way and putting the light on. She locked the door back before going through to the living room area. There, she found Garry and Tre chatting away whilst both having a couple of beers and watching an American football game that Tre had found on TV. Her mother was nowhere in sight.

"Hey guys; where's mam?" She quietly greeted before asking, which made them both look up.

"Hey baby, your mom is upstairs in the land of nod – she said she was tired," Tre chuckled before coming over to her, "How was the studio?!"

"It was fine." Cheryl simply replied, hugging him back once he'd wrapped his arms around her. Immediately, Tre and Garry picked up on her little response, which made them both give her a concerned look.

"Cheryl, is something wrong?" Garry asked. Cheryl shook her head, though her eyes were starting to fill up.

"Baby, what is it? What's wrong?" Tre asked, wiping her tears away whilst Garry turned the TV off, now feeling extremely concerned about his sister.

"Make them go away." She quietly mumbled, looking down as tears slipped down her cheeks. Tre and Garry exchanged a glance; Garry giving a confused look while Tre seemed to kind of figure out what she was talking about.

"Is this about your nightmares and stuff?" he asked. Cheryl nodded, looking down.

"What's happened, sis?" Garry asked, coming over and stroking her arm. Cheryl breathed out, wiping her eyes as she wrapped an arm around Tre.

"I don't know what's happening to me; I feel like I'm going fucking crazy." She managed to say. She choked back a sob, this now concerning Tre all the more as it was usually after she'd woken up that she'd start to cry. Garry was extra concerned, especially because it was rare that Cheryl was just properly upset and finding it hard to dictate why she was upset.

"Okay come here, sit down sweetheart." Tre softly spoke as he led her over to the sofa and sat down with her, keeping a comforting arm around her. Garry rushed off to get her a glass of water quickly, before returning and putting it on the table in front of her. He then sat over on the arm chair, giving a concerned look.

"Tell us what's happened." He said. Cheryl breathed out, before looking up at them.

"I – I was out, when I was coming back here, I stopped off to get petrol," she breathed out before continuing,

"I stopped off, went inside and paid and all, then came back and got the petrol and stuff. Then, I was sitting in the car, and I don't know what happened – like this sound – yanno like how the sound when someone's tire has like a blow out and it sounds a bit like a gunshot, well I heard that sound. When I heard it, it was like I was taken back – to a night with Jason where it was pretty bad, and it was like I was there, I was eighteen again and stuff and it was horrible and when I came back to my sense, I had my hands over my ears and was crying and stuff. I don't know what's happening or what's going on, but am I crazy?!"
