Audrey's pov

"Ahhhhhh" Eve cried out in the RV as Mr.hampton drove us to the hospital.

Ian was at work but Andre called him when Eve went on labor at the beach so he'd meet us at the hospital.

Eve pain looked traumatizing and I honestly didn't know what to do.

As a daughter in law, what does one do in this situation? Kayla was livestreaming while Annabella was on a video call with the mean girl squad.

Those two will never accept me but why do I care, Andre and I will soon get divorced and I'll go live with Adam in New York. Easy as that.

We finally made it to the hospital and the nurses got a stretcher for Eve who was now  calm but as she took deep breaths.

Apparently, she was supposed to be having a home delivery with a midwife and everything but since she lives in Miami which is like two to three hours away, we couldn't risk driving there since she can't fly in this state.

Ian finally arrived a minute after we arrived and he immediately went into the labor room since he was allowed as he was the dad.

Hours went by and I asked everyone if they'd be fine with coffee and like I thought everyone wanted some coffee except for my mother and father inlaw as they left to buy baby stuff since some of the baby stuff were left tin Miami.

Andre looked tense and I wondered what he had been thinking about. I feel worried not only for Eve but for him as well, I mean... what emotions does a soon to be uncle go through.

I then squeezed his hand to show my support and when he looked at me I looked forward.

I felt like I'd be weak under his eyes.

Soon, I felt hungry and I figured everyone would be hungry so I volunteered to go to the nearest restaurant I could find and as expected Kayla and Anabella wanted salads, didn't say please and thank you but whatever.

Andre asked me to get for him a chicken burger while I got for myself a rib burger with yes...extra barbecue and cheese.

We ate in the hospitals cafeteria in silence still waiting for the news of a new born baby.

About an hour after we ate, my Mother and father in law came back and they got nice and expensive looking items for the baby.

Andre looked tense and I wondered what he had been thinking about. I feel worried not only for Eve but for him as well, I mean... what emotions does a soon to be uncle go through.

I then squeezed his hand to show my support and when he looked at me I looked forward.

I felt like I'd be weak under his eyes.

A scream was heard soon and my heart jumped in excitement.

Not because Eve is in pain but because she had given birth after waiting almost seven hours .

Soon the doctor called us but only after an hour.

But my phone rang and it was a call from Adam.

Whilst everyone went in, I went the other way to take his call.

"Hey baby" I cheerily answered

"What the fuck is going on?" He roared and I almost dropped my phone.

"Wh-what are you talking about Adam?"

"You cheated on me with that Peter Brooks, I was right about you, you're nothing but a gold digger. Isn't that husband of yours enough for you?  Huh, tell me Audrey!"

He thinks I really cheated on him with Peter Brooks. I feel so hurt that he hurled such at me without even calmly confirming with me first.

"You know what Adam, i didn't cheat on you with Peter Brooks, what happened was a misunderstanding and if you can't believe me, I'll hang up now" I said then hung up.

I took a deep breath then fanned my eyes before going back to the family.

How dare he think that?

On my way to the family, a small shop by the cafeteria in the hospital caught my eye and I found myself walking.

There were flowers, giant teddy bears, small teddy bears, utensils, some clothes.

I white teddy bear caught my eye and I immediately got it for Eve.

Maybe the baby will like it as time goes on.

Ian and Eve were cuddling on her hospital bed while the family were talking amongst themselves and Andre held the baby in his arms.

Awwwe, how cute. He looks like he'd make a good father.

Eve accepted the gift and told me she likes it.

Ian then excused himself to go the bathroom.

"Question, how bad were the contractions?" I asked.

"So bad I wanted to invent a time machine to when Ian and I decided not to use a condom, prevent Audrey, trust me prevent!" Eve dramatically said and I laughed a little.

Little does Eve know, she made me feel  better.

Ian returned and so did Andre who gave me the baby, what a cute little baby boy!

I cooed and rocked it alittle. I wanted a baby now.

Ugh, baby fever.

Melissa my mother in law came and brushed her hand on my cheek as she looked at me with hopeful eyes.

""Now, I know who's next in line to give me more grandkids." She said and I just nodded.

Poor lady, if only she knew who'd give her a grandchild.

The baby then started crying in my arms and I had to return it to its mother who fed it.

We finally got home in the early hours of the morning and Mother in law ordered breakfast for all of us then everybody went to sleep.

I got dressed in some pajama pants and an oversized shirt and was ready to fall asleep when my phone rang. "Adam" flashed on the screen.

I didn't want to answer it but I found myself walking into the bathroom and locking the door.

"Yes?" I answered.

"Is this Audrey?" A female voice spoke.

Whose this?

"Uhm, who are you?"

"Great, stay away from my fiance, you're literally so obsessed with him, he told me how you broke his heart for money but you know what? I won't leave him just because you want him back dumb bitch" she said angrily then the line went off.

Adam has another girlfriend?

But i-

I didn't ever use him.

Is that what he thinks of me.

I sobbed into my hands as her words kept playing on my mind.

I heard Andre knocking on the door and after the third knock I opened up and I hugged him when he was about to ask if I'm ok.

We walked to his bed where he cuddled with me and didn't seem to mind that my tears wet his bare chest.

"Whats wrong, Audrey?" Andre asked while rubbing circles on my back.

"It's adam" I cried out then continued sobbing until sleep eventually engulfed me.
