"why not? we're neighbors we should help each other out don't you think?" she said as she lifted one of the boxes to follow him inside.
"Repeat that we're neighbors once more, I don't think I got it the first 1...
"I was like Stacey, hun bun, the wedding can't be both elegant and twilight-themed, of course, I only had good intentions but HA! Who appreciates good intentions these days anymore? no one!" Nabi was talking to Hongjoong, the bartender she grew really close with since she spent almost every Sunday at the bar.
"Tsk tsk" Hongjoong answered, shaking his head.
"Exactly! So cheers to my patience!" the girl raised her glass to her lips only to get stopped by the Oreo-haired boy.
"Nabi, hunny You already drank half a bottle on your own, how about you take a rest and go dance with your friends?"
"I bored you with my blubbering didn't I?" the drunk girl asked as she frowned, causing the other to chuckle.
"Trust me, I can never get bored with your stories, I just don't want you to end up throwing up like last time"
"I thought we agreed to forget that ever happened," Nabi said as she crossed her arms.
"What happened? When?" the boy asked, acting clueless making the girl grin.
"Good boy" She patted Hongjoong's head before turning around and joining her friends on the dance floor.
Hyunmi and Yunho, both drunk, were dancing like there was no tomorrow if you could call moving like that dancing, earning few glances from the people around them. On the other hand, Soojin and Seonghwa were all over each other, making Nabi gag as she swiftly looked away.
Feeling lonely the girl looked around in the hope of finding a familiar face before someone caught her attention by patting her shoulder gently. As the girl turned around she immediately recognized the man in front of her.
"Mingyu oh my god I'm so glad you're here!" she threw her arms around the boy's shoulders, hugging him tightly, making him laugh. Kim Mingyu was another friend she made in this bar. they weren't that close while sober but always had lots of fun drinking together.
"It's not even midnight yet why are you already drunk?"
"The question is why aren't you?" the girl let go of him, grabbed his hand instead, and started walking back towards Hongjoong who was busy chatting with other customers as he mixed some drinks.
"Can you order us drinks while I hide?"
"heh?"
"just do it and make sure it's something strong!" she said, leaving the boy at the bar while she hid behind the dancing bodies, avoiding getting caught by the bartender, causing Mingyu to let out another chuckle.
They spent a couple of hours dancing and drinking before they both realized how dizzy and tired they felt.
"I think it's time for me to leave."
"I can walk you home," the boy said as he stumbled before Nabi caught his arm, snorting.
"you cannot even walk yourself home babe" she answered still laughing before she tripped on someone's foot herself.
"I can't say you didn't deserve that."
"at least help me up you jerk." after he took his hand helping her stand up while laughing at the girl they decided to leave together only after Nabi texted her friends, letting them know she was leaving.

After locking her phone and putting it in her bag the girl grabbed Mingyu's hand as they walked towards her house nearly falling every step, giggling at themselves. It was only a 10-minute walk but considering the fact that they were crawling more than walking it took them a little bit longer.
When they finally arrived at Nabi's apartment they both fell on the couch, feeling exhausted.
"I might have a crazy idea."
"And I might want to hear it."
"I have an unopened wine bottle in the cupboard." the girl smirked at the man next to him, causing him to snort.
